A sword that sings.
A super simple, yet sturdy, yet flimsy sword. Perfect for practicing wushu, decent for practiceing thai chi. The sword rings out as you stab and slash with very little effort, but not so much as to be obnoxious. The steel is very flexable and has no edge. As a result the blade can barely cut through a sheet of paper, much less human flesh so there is little to no risk of injury. Honestly this sword is safer to practice with than most wooden swords i've used. The down sides; The blue ribbon on the grip fell off on the first slash revealing a siple wooden grip underneath. This was fine for me as it ultimately made the sword easier to handle, but if your buying this for its aesthetics, be aware. The blade is curved even at rest and will never remain perfectly straight. Again, only really an issue if you care about aesthetics. The fittings are screwed in by a small bolt at the base of the pomel, the bolt may become loose resulting in a rattling and looseness in the grip. This can be immediately and effortlessly reversed by hand tightening it. All things considered, i'm very satasfied. I intend to use it till it breaks and then maybe buy another.

Poor quality and/or shipping
Received with sword sheath broken not enough time to return before sword is needed. No apparent damage to shipping box. Very disappointed in this purchase.

It has a flexible blade and when you strike with fajin it will make that nice snapping noise
We use this for taichi and it is just about right. It has a flexible blade and when you strike with fajin it will make that nice snapping noise. It looks nice, is weighted properly, and the scabbard is attractive. The only issue is that the wrapping immediately came off the handle exposing the wood underneath. It still works fine, but it looks a little sketchy. We'll have to super glue it down or something.

This is a practice straight sword
These are notorious for the end screw falling off and the whole sword falling apart so you gotta really over tighten the screw or get you some threadlocker to keep the screw in place. 10/10 for price.

Not the color advertised
I bought this as a birthday gift for my wife, it did arrive faster than expected and in proper condition however this swords scabbard is not the color I was expecting, it came with a childish red color scabbard and its not as appealing in my opinion, I would not have bought this color. Luckily my wife is still pleased to just have it, but she prefers the advertised color as well. Considering returning.

I think this sword is a fun and theatrical Wushu apparatus
I think this sword is a fun and theatrical Wushu apparatus. Very light, fast and dramatic. Just don't be silly enough to think you're buying an actual sword with edges. Recognise what Wushu weapons are like and for... and if that's what you're after, you will not be disappointed. So, despite having a relatively small welded tang, I give it a 5/5. The tang will do the job when it comes to something this light and one isn't silly enough to actually strike something with it. I recommend this sword to Wushu practitioners who want a fun, noisy gentlemen's weapon.
