Three years in, I’m still loving this wallet! I probably researched minimalist wallets as much or more than any other purchase I ever made. There’s a lot to learn about them! Most of them are basically card holders and do not accommodate cash very well. A lot of them are not particularly well made and fall apart within a year or perhaps a bit longer. Some don’t fully close when filled to maximum card capacity. I wouldn’t have known any of these things if I hadn’t done my due diligence which mainly consisted of viewing every single YouTube video of minimalist wallet reviews. Some more than once. The thing I liked the most about the Secrid was that it is very cash friendly. You can actually store cash INSIDE the wallet very much like you’re used to doing with traditional wallets. Most of the others give you a strap or a clip to slide your currency under that is on the OUTSIDE of the wallet. How well it stays put when you take your wallet out of your pocket put it back in is anybody’s guess. Someone gave me a Ridge wallet and I gave it a go but never felt like my cash was well secured by either the clip or the elastic strap they give you. Plus, with the Ridge, your cash is showing every time you pull your wallet out. Secrid also thought about the potential problem of the wallet not fully closing or flapping open at an inoppurtune time by adding a sturdy snap closure that keeps it folded and closed just great. One of the things that impressed me about the YouTube videos was that several of the reviewers carry the Secrid personally! One of the reviews is by a man from Germany that has had his Secrid and been using it for 10 years! I carry the exact same wallet! Needless to say, I love this wallet! It does everything I want and need it to do but takes up a fraction of the space in my pocket of a traditional wallet.

My brother got this wallet when he visited Amsterdam and ever since then, I've been seeing how he has been using and loving it. I finally pulled the trigger and got one myself! It is a great minimalist wallet. I'm able to carry just the cards I need and even add cash too! Amazing buy! The small button closure is nice to have for security as I can make sure that the cash I have in it won't get lost/dropped out. The card slot pop-up of very high quality and I am able to fit 5 cards in it no issues. The additional sleeves on the inside of the wallet is great to put in cards that I don't need as often like my DL. Love it!

Secrid wallets are amazing. I have had many now over the past few years. Love this olive green color and its looks stylish while being small and easy to use. Holds a decent amount of cards and doesn't weigh too much nor is it too thick. Would highly recommend.

UPDATED REVIEW: It's been almost 3 years since I purchased this wallet. It remains the best wallet I've ever had. I traveled all over the country and overseas. Never had a problem. Regularly, people ask where they can get one as well. The card eject trigger still works flawlessly. The plastic sleeve designed to hold money is still fine. You can't put a lot of bills there, but it works. I've stretched out the leather pockets a bit with other cards, ie. insurance and membership cards, train passes, etc. If I needed another wallet, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to buy another one. UPDATED REVIEW: I've now had this for 11 months. It continues to be a great wallet. So much easier to use than traditional wallets. It's compact, requiring that I carefully choose what I want to carry, but holds everything I really need. Almost weekly, someone asks me about it. It's incredibly convenient. Appreciate it even more today than when I originally purchased it ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is a great tool While it will hold 6 cards in the ejection case section, it won't do so if they are all cards that are embossed, like most credit cards. What I've found is that if I store 4 regular credit cards, a driver's license and one other non-embossed card, they will fit. However, I have to face the fronts of two embossed cards toward each other, with one top matched to the other bottom, so as to reduce the thickness. Otherwise, it's very difficult to fit the cards. The place for holding bills is small as well. Even though this seems as criticism, for me it works very well. I wanted something small and secure and this certainly fits the need, especially as a road warrior seeking every way to minimize as possible. I just think everyone should know what their getting for what they spend and know the advertising of 6 cards is a bit misleading.

So I'm a proud graduate of the 'grandfather wallet' where it raises you off your seat one side about 4 inches..LOL. I decided to go minimalist as regards my wallet for a few reason: I was tired of fighting to get my wallet out of my pant's back pocket. I'm tired of collecting everything in my wallet (receipts and etc). And having been a victim of credit card skimming I figured it was time to do something about all of these problems. I researched a ton of wallets and watched a lot of youtube video reviews and I decided to give this wallet a shot. Here are my thoughts after 2 weeks of use. Pros: Wow is this thing tiny, but you get a good sense of excellent build quality. It has good weight to it due to the metal credit card holder and the leather casing feels very rich. I can fit 5 cards (3 raised embossing and 2 completely flat) in the holder,which isn't enough for ALL my cards, but I can get used to carry just the really important ones. I can fit 3 more cards in the other slots (2 in the middle slot and 1 more in the end slot) which allows me to get my driver's license and a access card in there. Lastly, I can fit 5 US bills in the holder and still get it to close comfortably... a 6th bill strains it but it will close as well.Last, but not least..The RFID protection is a must! Don't be a victim like me. Even if you don't choose this wallet find one you like with RFID protection! Cons: There are 2 problems, but neither one are deal breakers for me. One, While the leather casing is high quality it does 'dent' and scratch pretty easily so you will have to be careful about what you put in your pocket with it. Personally I'm not showcasing it to anyone and its in my pocket 90% of the time so I don't really look at them, but they are noticeable when it happens. Two: This does kinda bother me a bit. Your cards can be dislodged with a couple of hard shakes. I performed this test a couple of days after receiving it and I was quite surprised (yes, even though I did read this in some other peoples review beforehand). However I figure that since I'm not normally shaking my wallet in this fashion and it just sits in my pocket there should be little to worry about as regards to them just falling out the enclosure. All in All, I'm very happy with the wallet and I don't regret purchasing it. I guess if I could turn back the hands of time knowing then what I know now I might continue to research other wallets, but as long as my cards stay in the enclosure under normal everyday usage I will continue to stick with this wallet.

I would give this another star if I could. I've tried oh-so-many wallets over the years and have never been fully happy with any one of them. A friend recommended this the day after I spent $40 on a carbon fiber Ridge-knock off, but that I hadn't been aware of this wallet at the time. I ordered this and immediately put the other in the drawer. I am so happy with this wallet. The design, materials, function and craftsmanship are all outstanding. Clearly a lot of effort was put into this product and I love everything about it. The card ejection feels great and ejects your cards at stepped levels making it easy to grab one. The ejection mechanism is solid and well-built. The cash holder is a clever design. You can't fit a ton of bills in it, folded in half, but you can fit enough if you're not dealing with singles. I have ten bills in mine now and it "just" closes. Love the extra card slots in the non-protected holder, as I can get into my office with my RFID badge in one of those. The leather is excellent. I got the green natural version that has a little character. This wallet is luxurious and hi tech at the same time.

I’ve had this Wallet since 2018 and it’s still going strong. Everything still works. The mechanism that pushes the cards up still works. The leather has a few knicks and scrapes but still good!

Its not often I get excited about a wallet but having had loads during my life, it was time to go upmarket and something different. This wallet, although its might be seen fairly expensive, is great. Its a small wallet (smaller than an iPhone in height, the same width and bit bigger in depth) that fits into any pocket and yet packs a great deal. The wallet has a sliding slot which fits 5 cards comfortably and 6 at a push. These cards are released by a pullback button that sticks out at the bottom - I put my less used cards into this slot just because I'm conscious I don't want to break it. Having said that, the wallet is sturdy so I dont think it will break any time soon. You can then open the wallet up, a button on the top keeps it closed shut and you have a further 2 card slots which allows for 2 cards to fit in easily. This means you can hold 9/10 cards easily in this wallet. Inside the wallet you also have a slit that opens up to keep notes in place, which is perfect for me and once you close the wallet you can have peace of mind that the cash will not fall out. Nice leather wallet from Secrid and I'd recommend it if you're after a wallet and willing to pay the price. Its definitely different to whats out there and friends have liked it too. Enjoy!

Bij ontvangst van het product bleek de drukknop verbogen. Hierdoor is de portemonnee nauwelijks open te krijgen. Daarbij zie je ook een verbuiging aan de knop en lichte beschadigingen van het leer rondom de drukknop. Erg jammer. Gelet op de prijs had ik meer kwaliteit verwacht...

Love these wallets. It makes it easy to pull out your credit cards without needing to open it up.
