Longevity Review Update! November 23
Background: I work in a prison. So it can get loud in a pod full of inmates. I also have moderate tinnitus. So I can hear the radio but not what's being said without having the radio turned up so loud that the whole pod can hear the radio. Not good. So I have tried several ear pieces over time and have some experience with wearing them for 12 to 16 hour days. The Good: So to start off with, now that I have messed with this for a month and have tried it a few different ways here is what I think. This ear piece is super small. It fits inside your ear canal. I was never worried about the visibility of the ear piece but having it not so visible has been nice. Most important the sound is crystal clear! Other ear pieces I have had to have my radio turned up half way. Not a big deal really. But this one on the first que up of the mic at halfway it about blew out my ear! So down the volume went. This ear piece stays in place all day when worn properly ( more about that later). This ear piece does not block sound I can put a phone up to my ear and hear just fine without discomfort. I have total spatial awareness when wearing the piece properly. The wire being so thin and so light eliminates any weird pressures on the ear that I have had with tube style ear pieces. Tips and Hints: Okay so when I first got my ear piece I used the small cushion that comes on it. Yes I watched the video. I liked the piece then but it kept falling out all day, especially if I was chewing my lunch. So I thought maybe the bigger cushion was for me. I tried it the next day and used it for a week. I found that it seemed to block sound. made me feel like I had a head cold. messing with it one day I pushed it further into my ear than I have before and I found the sound came back. but there was discomfort. so I tried the small piece and pushed it all the way into the ear canal. So the secret here is yes that thing goes all the way into the ear canal. There is some getting used to it. It feels like a small itch inside your ear for awhile. but that goes away and I forget I got it in until I it out at the end of the day. very comfortable. If it seems to block sound it probably needs to be pushed in a bit more. if its falling out probably needs pushed in a bit more. Don't just shove it in as far as you can. This will cause discomfort. What I do is put it in the ear canal and then apply slight gentle pressure with my finger and let the ear piece find its way into the ear canal. I find if I am in a hurry and push it in I definitely feel uncomfortable pressures. However, if I just let it slide in with gentle pressure it will go all the way in with no uncomfortable pressure. Then you forget its even in place its so unobtrusive anyway, now I love this piece. So Is It Worth The $$$?: I don't know yet. Its a neat little piece and at this time yes I am glad I bought it. However I have only had it a month and longevity is going to be the key here. I can buy a lot of the tube style ear pieces at 2 for $15 at this price. But they seem to fail anywhere between 3 and 6 months. I am hoping this will last 2 to 3 years. If that is the case I will say absolutely it is worth the $$$. I will update this review when enough time passes or the thing fails. Update March 2023: I have had this 5 months and it works like new still. I have only replaced the ear wax filter once. the sound started to get muffled and so I replaced the filter and like new again. SO far still worth the money. Update November 2023: I purchased this in October 2022, This has been an excellent piece. I have had only on issue that happened today. The outer shell came off in my ear. I have seen at least one other review for this happening. This was a little concerning but my girlfriend pulled it out with tweezers. To be honest I had an incident a while back where this thing got ripped out of my ear and may have weakened the shell/base connection. I cleaned everything with rubbing alcohol and super glued the piece back together. Still WORKS! super crisp and clear sound and still the most comfortable piece I have worn. So here I am a little over a year and still satisfied with it. So far my experience has been worth the money. I am hoping to get at least another year from this and at this time I don't see any signs of it stopping.

Weak coating that cracks and peeks
Lasted maybe 8 months? The coating on the wire part that goes over the ear cracked, peeled, and started coming off. I expected way more from something that costs $100. The sound quality was great, super comfortable, but virtually useless because it breaks. Wasn't pulled, never run through the washer accidentally, and wasn't left in a car or outside in direct sunlight for anything other than when it was on my head.

So far so good: UPDATE!
After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant, however I have been using it for about three weeks with no issues. The audio is clear and I donโt even notice that I have it in. Super comfortable. I love the product and you even forget that you have it in your ear itโs some small and easy to wear. However two months into using it, it stopped working. The speaker blew. I called N-Ear who advised that they are not the company selling these on Amazon so it was not under manufacturer warranty. This is very disappointing considering the seller provides N-ear.com as the support page which you canโt put in the warranty info since itโs an Amazon order not their companies order number. I would recommend purchasing direct from N-ear and being sure to have that full warranty.

Works for what its needed for
For the money, its not a bad product. The original tube ear piece I was set up with at my job just killed my ears. the only complaint I have had about this product so far is the clip broke on the wire but I just use the alligator clip to clip it to my collar. speaker works great have had no major issues. I do like I can hear everything around me, and the cord is almost non existent and I don't feel tugging on my ear to make it ache. I DID on accident order the wrong size and the company never reached out to send it back (I tried contacting them twice) so be cautious on which one you order

Bad product
Look, I loved this thing and used it for work. It is slim and comfortable. One good yank, boom! Trashed out. There is no warranty for it. It's cheaply made in some aspects, but man, it was good while I was using it. Oh yeah, their actual page. Good luck; they do not have an email to send it to. You have to live and connect with someone. I can't find it; I could be wrong as well. This product is good, but not worth the cheapness and price. Do not purchase this product

Too Expensive, Short Warranty
I have used the expensive ($100) N-ear Flexo Dynamic earpiece for about 1.5yr after switching over from the regular ($35) tube earpiece which I've used for several years. Initially it was a slight adjustment to the audio change but grew used to it and enjoyed it. Unfortunately the N-ear piece only lasted for approximately for 1.5yr before the rubber coating started to completely separate from the wire in multiple locations and noticed a deterioration in the audio quality. Speaking with customer service about the issue, I was informed it was a firm 1yr warranty and was offered a slight discount towards a new one. N-ear $100 for 1.5yr vs any tube $35 for several yrs; the cost ratio and quality is not worth the purchase, stick with the tube earpiece. A review was also written on the N-ear website however the company apparently filters the reviews. This same review review is unable to be posted which is why there are no reviews under 4 stars on their website.

Game changer
Probably the best ear piece out there. A little pricey but worth it. Easy to use, small enough to be hidden, great fit, and very good clarity. EMS tones blew out my earpiece but I ordered another one. I probably could have contacted N-Ear for warranty though.

Loud, crisp, clear sound, thin and discrete look. A huge step up from acoustic tubes and other ear pieces. But pricey but worth the investment in the long term.

Used the ear piece for a few months at work then one day it sounded like a blown speaker. Expected more from this product.
