CatGenie Maintenance Cartridge

I was skeptical about this cartridge, at best I figured it would just remove some of the hard water deposits in the poop-erator, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it literally just erase the stains and make the Cat Genie look like new! Weighing the cost of $5 per clean vs cleaning the cat box with some Lime Away, I'll happily pay for the cartridge -- after all, we bought an automatic cat box so we don't have to clean the cat box, right?!

I run a small computer repair store and only leave reviews on the things I feel meet expectations. I am giving this item a 5 star because It works great with no problems. We probably spend over $50,000 a year on Amazon for our business, so finding the right parts in a timely matter at an affordable price so I can make some profit is key. We rely on Amazon to keep us in stock with parts.

This whole system is amazing. I was taking care of my son's cats for him and he brought over the CatGenie and set it up. I was amazed by all it could do and how good it was for the cats.

Hard to review when you only use it once a month. It works in the machine.... does it make a difference? Who really knows unless you do a special trial using two separate units, using one with this and one without. We use these to help keep our CatGenie cat box clean and running smoothly. My husband still has to occasionally clean part of the box system, but over all this seems to help when you use it. They are costly, but a necessary part of the CatGenie system.

BEST.INVENTION.EVER...IF YOU HAVE CATS GET ONE. YOU SPEND A LITTLE MONEY ONCE A YEAR ON CARTRIDGES AND A LITTLE EVERY 3-5 MONTHS ON GRANUALS AND CLEANER, A LITTLE TIME CLEANING THE MACHINE OUT (JUST GENERAL CLEANING-I'M A NEAT FREAK) MUCH BETTER THAN SCOOPING UP CAT POOP AND RINSING OUT CAT PEE. OH A TIP IF YOU HAVE A CAT GENIE, GET SOME LIQUID PLUMBER AND OXICLEAN. ONCE A YEAR USE THE LIQUID PLUMBER ON THE PLASTIC HOSE THAT LEADS TO THE DRAIN (IT WILL CLEAN OUT ANY CLUMPS OR CAT HAIR) AND ONCE A MONTH PUT A SCOOP OF OXICLEAN IN THE BOWL AND RUN A CLEAN CYCLE. IT WILL GET THAT SLUDGY STUFF OFF THE BOTTOM AND MAKE IT EASIER TO CLEAN AND KEEPS IT FROM GIVING YOU THE "BAKED POOP" SCENT YOU GET AFTER A MONTH.

Permet un bon nettoyage du Catgenie et enlève bien le calcaire. Un peu cher comme tous les produits Catgenie.

Nous ne regrettons pas d’avoir acheté cette machine malgré le coût des recharges, car celles-ci durent vraiment longtemps. Le système revient moins cher à la longue ( après environ 1 an pour 2 chats).

The item is excellent but I ordered wrong. Meant to get that regular cartridge. But I was refunded money by seller no problem.
