Keep the Fun Going – Never Run Out of Ammo!
Keep the Fun Going – Never Run Out of Ammo! These BUG-A-SALT Shred-Er salt cartridges earn every bit of 5 stars and are an absolute must-have for any serious salt gun operator. Once you own a BUG-A-SALT Shred-Er you quickly realize that having a reliable supply of cartridges on hand is non-negotiable—running out of ammo mid-bug-season is simply not an option. The cartridges load quickly and cleanly into the Shred-Er without fumbling or spilling, and the salt volume per cartridge gives a satisfying number of shots before needing a reload. Whether you're patrolling the backyard, defending the patio from flies, or going after targets of opportunity inside the house, having extra cartridges stocked means the fun and the pest elimination never have to stop. They're also just a genuinely great gift to bundle with the salt gun for anyone who already owns one—nothing says "I understand your lifestyle" quite like a fresh supply of salt gun ammunition. Practical, fun, and completely on brand for the BUG-A-SALT experience. Highly recommended for all active Shred-Er operators.

Bug apocalypse
Absolutely the best gift for the man who hates flies and spiders. I had a crossman pellet revolver that uses the same style of magazines as these so after seeing reviews stating that these worked in it I had to try them ( rather large spider issues and I didn’t want to get too close) disintegrated the spiders every shot, but afterwards I kinda felt bad for destroying a small colony and after seeing the potential for insect obliteration I gave both my pellet gun and these to my father… a man who has absolutely no problem delivering mass destruction to the local insect population in his garage…. The smile on his face when he makes a fly turn into mostly guts is absolutely disturbing and satisfying. Definitely worth getting if you or someone you know has murderous intentions towards insects.

Shreds Wings, Not Wasps: A Multi-Shot Solution for Tough Pests
For the past few summers, I’ve been battling a particularly nasty type of wasp—the paper wasp. These things are huge, and their stings hurt like crazy! I’d been relying on chemical sprays to deal with them, but I wasn’t a fan of spraying poison everywhere. Plus, those sprays felt like overkill. I also tried the 'RESCUE! Yellowjacket' traps, which work wonders for smaller wasps like yellow jackets, but these big paper wasps just laughed them off. After trying a bunch of methods, I was starting to feel hopeless—until I stumbled across the Bug-A-Salt Shred-Er Starter Kit. At first, I wasn’t impressed. It didn’t kill these larger wasps outright, which was frustrating. But I stuck with it because I was at least hitting them sometimes. While it struggled to deliver a fatal blow, it did manage to stun them and shred their wings, leaving them grounded. They wouldn’t die right away, though—they’re tough little monsters. Here’s the deal: you’ve got to shoot them multiple times. After a few point-blank blasts—sometimes an entire clip—they’d finally drop. Their thick carapace is hard to penetrate, but the salt tears up their wings and eventually wears them down. Once they’re on the ground, finish them off with a stomp or keep a fly swatter handy (trust me, you’ll need it). Honestly, I wish this thing packed more punch. A bigger round or a bit more PSI would make it perfect for taking down these armored beasts in one go. Still, it’s a solid product overall, especially if you’re persistent. It’s not a one-shot wonder, but it gets the job done with some effort.
