This Aenllosi case is a reasonable fit for my Klein MM700 with the magnetic hanging strap attached. There is about 1/4" of space on each side and about 1 1/4" of space at the top where I can fold the magnetic hanger so that the meter fits into the case. The top half of the Klein MM700 is thicker than the Fluke 87-V, so the looking at the open case from the side the Klein stands about 1/2" taller than the zipper for the top half of the meter. With the manual, test leads, and other kit accessories in the web pocket the fit is just a little snug with the zipper closed. No velcro or anything on it...** A: It’s by like a battery pull strap, you put your meter over it and when you need to you pull on it and it will pop out. **Q: Will this case fit a Fluke 1587? It’s almost 9” lone.** A: INTERNAL LENGTH = 8 1/8 INTERNAL WIDTH = 4 3/8 USABLE DEPTH 2"+- depending how is in zipper compartment. For comparison, a Fluke 712 fits perfect. **Q: How tight does the Fluke 87V fit in this?** A: 87V pretty much fills the whole one side of the case and have to coil leads up and place them in the holder on the other side of the case. Not much room for anything else **Q: Will this case fit a fluke 87v max ?** A: I have an 85iii and it fits perfectly. Yours is the much newer version of mine but the same size. This is a great case. It is much better than the one Fluke supplies.
