LeapFrog Tad's Get Ready for School Book

This LeapFrog book is absolutely wonderful for preparing little ones for school! My preschooler is obsessed with Tad the frog and asks to "read" this book multiple times a day. The interactive features keep kids engaged while teaching essential school readiness skills. The content covers everything from letters and numbers to following directions and classroom routines. What's brilliant is how it makes learning feel like play - kids don't even realize they're practicing important skills. The activities progress nicely from simple to more complex concepts. Build quality is excellent and has survived countless readings by enthusiastic little hands. The buttons are responsive and the sound quality is clear. Battery life has been surprisingly good, and it's held up beautifully to daily use over many months. I love how it builds confidence about starting school by showing what to expect in a fun, non-intimidating way. The lessons about sharing, listening, and following classroom rules are presented through engaging stories that kids actually want to hear repeatedly. Perfect bridge between home and school learning. Educational value is outstanding while keeping the fun factor high. This book has genuinely helped prepare my child for the school environment. This is the best early learning electronic book out there! Very clear speech, volume level just right. Covers most important basics in one book. 3 learning levels from explaining what they are - to the child searching for the answers. The lessons include: NUMBERS and helps them count them, ALPHABET A-Z with object picture, ANIMALS including their enviroment, COLORS including what primary to mix to make secondary colors, SHAPES including finding the shapes, EMOTIONS with expressions, MUSIC with instrument pictures and their sounds, CLOCK tells the time when turning the dial. I am so impressed with this collection of lessons and how it presents them.

My daughter is learning her basics and this book helps. It prompts her if she is having trouble on an area. It gives the answer and then she continues from where she left off. We use this book a lot. It really is a all in one book. Different areas are in this book. Easy to follow for her. She enjoys learning with this book. Soon she won't have to press to get the answers. Highly recommend!!! My daughter loves this toy. It is very educational. She picked up on telling time at 2 years old from this toy, which is remarkable to me. The instruments are great categories to discover with her with the sounds. We go over the various activities and we take it with us in the car on rides. It is a bit loud though and annoys my husband sometimes, Lol. It's an overall great purchase.

The grand kids love pressing buttons so LeapFrog Tad's Get Ready for School Book is the third leapFrog Electronic book that I have purchased for them. I am happy with anything that will help with their learning to read. This book keeps their attention for a very long time. It is a little more advanced than the other LeapFrog books that I already own, but it is their new favorite.

My 2-year-old and 4-year-old fight over this in the car. They both love it. Switch modes depending on which is playing with it so that the 4-year old is more challenged. Great product!

I honestly be happy when it runs out of batteries because it get used sooooo much. Easy to carry, keeps her busy, loud, and she learns.

The exercises and prompts in the book was really useful and my girl loves how there are « games » and there music for her to dance along too. She’s 2.5 years old and I reckon it could last her at least 1-2 years I Guess.
