It works. **Q: Can you carry on a plane** A: Per FAA, canned oxygen may not be carried on a plane or in checked baggage. **Q: would a small child (ages 9 & 4) be able to use this? our family is planning a high altitude vacation.** A: yes **Q: is this good for mild copd** A: I use boost everyday for COPD and heart problems. It's great when a large tank is too large. I carry it in the market when for a quick trip. The only drawback is it's difficult to figure your use and sometimes run out.
