Does it get crunchy and flake up on the comb through?

No it does not get crunch and flake up on combing. I really like the Gel but the shipping costs are terrible and I am looking for another Gel.

What the specific ingredients in vo5 mega hold styling gel?

Hello Anjelica: I have often wandered what the ingredients are myself. I will tell you that it really works. I have very thin hair so I have found that I need a round ball of it about the size of a dime to keep my hair from blowing all over the place. You may need much less. If you use to much it will tend to dry and leave a white powder on you comb. If you decide to try it buy the 50 ml first that way you won't waste your money if you don't like it. Also, if your located in England you can buy it locally, however, if your in the states it takes about 3 weeks to get it from England because I can't buy it locally here for some reason. This is the ONLY styling gel my husband will use. Had to buy some when we were traveling in Europe and now I have to get it sent to us in the US so he can have it. They don't sell it anywhere I can find around here. I guess it's pretty good stuff! :)
