Great Xbow
This is the first crossbow i've purchased. As far as that goes its been a great bow so far. Assembly was easy and it came well packaged and undamaged. The built in crank is great and I enjoy not having to use the rope cocker. Works well w/o any issue. I did use some double sided velcro to mount the crank handle to the bow for storage when not using. Right out of the box without any adjustments i was able to get sub 2" grouping at 20 yards (pictures are very first shots after assembly @ 20 yards). Moving out to 30 & 40 yards I had to make very minor adjustments to windage and elevation. I also had no issue hitting target at 70 yards (furthest I could get on my property). I was using my regular bow target for this. Do not recommend as I damaged the fletching on 2 arrows. I have since bought a crossbow rated target. The arrow setup that it comes with out of the box are 369/370 grain WITH the included 100 grain field tip. So these are very light (how they get the 415 FPS) I went up to a 425 grain setup and it still shoots great. The scope is definitely on the lower end but does get the job done. The Blue/Red reticle feels absolutely useless to me because it lights up everything, not just the center point. It's very distracting. At some point I will replace the scope. I would definitely recommend this crossbow to anyone looking to get into target shooting or hunting. It has enough power and accuracy to do either.

ANOTHER DISSATISFIED, DISAPPOINTED & UNHAPPY CUSTOMER !!!!
Write a product review they said... OK I will...Sit back, it might get lengthy. READ THE REVIEWS !!! BUYER DEFINITELY BEWARE !!! Too bad they don't give an option for a "negative star" review. This one would be -5 stars. In short...Killer Instinct crossbows SUCK !!! Been bow hunting for years (compound bow). Wanted to give crossbow a try without breaking the bank...hence, Killer Instinct. HUGE MISTAKE !!! Despite the mixed reviews I bought 2 of these bows. Lets me start with the Vital X 405 ($380). Everything was in check and correct from assembly to even checking nock orientation on the bolts. Now I know how much energy is stored in a fully drawn crossbow, remember I'm an experienced archer, and the provided bolts just didn't seem heavy enough for that kind of energy so I decided on a heavier arrow/bolt. This decreases wear on the bow at the expense of speed but not penetration, which I'm more concerned about. Since my comfortable hunting distance is only 35-45 yards max, speed isn't much of an issue for me. Anyway, got the Vital X sighted in, 3 bolts at 20yrds weighing 475-480gns "total weight". Within 10 bolts the string blew up and destroyed the cams. Don't know if the limbs are fractured because I don't see any splintering or visible damage to them..but I'm sure they're trash also. This is a very cheaply made crossbow...at least the most important part of it is. Thinking maybe I just got a bad one I decided to try this company again and purchased the Fuel 415 ($350) this go 'round. It had better reviews, not much better but better. Again, everything in check and correct and using the same bolts (475-480gn). Including sight in, about 15-20 bolts went through this crossbow and whatda ya know....the reviews on this bow were spot on also. The limb has completely failed. Not only did it fail but it completely broke. No need to post pictures...mine will look like all the other pictures already posted. In conclusion, I cannot stress enough to read the reviews, ESPECIALLY the 1 and 2 star reviews. Those are the ONLY ones to be true and correct. THEN, if you still decide to purchase one of these Killer Instinct crossbows... SHAME ON YOU !!! You deserve to be DISAPPOINTED not to mention PISSED OFF just like every other person (including myself) who has purchased from this company. And since the reviews on Killer Instinct's customer service are what they are, I have decided to keep my peace and NOT and WILL NOT contact them. All the reviews are spot on about their product so there's no need to question the reviews about their customer service procedures. Again, to you the reader.... You have been duly warned by yet another dissatisfied, disappointed and unhappy customer.

Good bow, bad instructions.
This is a pretty good bow. Instructions leave a lot to be desired. Scope has very little information about it. Like you need to remove battery and take out the piece of plastic so it will work. But I got it together and is shooting find at this time. Videos online helped and it did give you codes to excess them that didn't work.

Love it!
I wrote a review before I shot this crossbow. Now that I got familiar with the crank system and have the scope dialed in, I love it. The pictures are 40 and 50 yard shots. I don’t know what all the negative remarks regarding the scope are about. I got it dialed in for 20 yards and the 30, 40 and 50 yard marks were dead on. 60 yard mark was real close but I could have been off and not the scope. I did switch to Carbon Express Pile Driver bolts. Didn’t shoot the ones that came with it even though they looked ok. Also it arrived quickly and was simple to assemble. Customer service in the reviews was one reason I chose this crossbow

Killer crossbow
I waited to write this review. I bought last January and assembly was easy. However the bow does have a set screw that you need to loosen prior to installing the limbs. Hunted all season from archery through gun with this bow. Absolutely no issues. I did however choose to shoot heavier bolts. I have had other crossbows in the past prior to this one. 2 different Barnett ghosts models. I have taken my limit this year with no shots over 40 yards. If I were going to take longer shots I would recommend a better scope. Just my 2 cents

Easy breezy
The crossbow assembly was simple and straight forward. The seller shipped promptly and it arrived sooner than expected.

Lasted about 3 months.
So I previously gave this five stars, If I could give it negative stars I would, for the following reasons lack of customer service and support from either Amazon or killer instinct and I mean lack of I mean zero like zero no return phone calls no return emails nothing from killer instinct Amazon directs me to them they don't communicate. Amazon said that it's outside of the return window so they cannot do anything about it. I only say that they should do something about it because it lasted 3 months You're selling an item that is total garbage. And it lasts not even half a year this thing cost $400 I mean if you back up your products that you sell on Amazon why wouldn't you recognize this company is peddling trash on your website.I only had it out four or five times to the range shooting with field tips, was out today right now as a matter of fact I'm still standing here looking at the remains of the killer instinct. About the 4th or 5th shot tonight pull the trigger in the whole end fell off. These photos show what was lef. unbelievable I'm truly baffled waiting to speak to Amazon customer service to see what they're going to do about it. UPDATE... We're going on about a week now and absolutely is nothing from killer instinct I've emailed them I have sent in a ticket as they refer to it only to hear nothing in return. Amazon deflects to killer instinct and Amazon says that they're not responsible Even though they sold this $400 paperweight that I now own. I mean when you go by Ford from the dealership and something's wrong with it where do you take it? You take it back to the dealership where you bought it. What about a gallon of milk what if it's spoiled when you get home You take it back to the grocery store where you bought it. You don't call the milk company You don't call the Ford place or the Chevy place you take it back to where you got it from. Thanks Amazon thanks for really sticking it to me on this one.
