Got this for a dog we wanted to take with us in out Subaru. I'm sure it would work just as good in any other vehicle, but it worked great in our Outback. very easy to use and held the dog like we wanted. great product

These are easy to use and very adjustable, I use them every time a dog is in my car. I love that they keep the pups in their seats and will protect them in an emergency. I was in a car crash with my chihuahua once, and after seeing him fly from his seat and smacking into the glovebox/passenger footspace, I had to make sure it didn't happen again. This product is also great if your dog gets any funny ideas about jumping out of the window while driving. I also have a senior dog, the seatbelt helps keep her from teetering over the edge of the seat and into the floor while driving or repositioning. Overall, the quality is great with no durability flaws, no fraying or anything like that. I would absolutely buy these again and I think they should be in every dog owner's car.

I love the 2 types of restraints here. One goes over a headrest and works well for my 70 lb dog - the little bit of bungee-like give seems more gentle for her. Occasionally she gets twisted around with one leg caught in this - Maybe only suspending the restraint from above could fix that. The other clips into a standard seatbelt - this doesnt work as well as the other for my 7p lb dog because she gets tangled and has stepped on the seatbelt release button to unhook it - while it has a backup clip for this problem, my car doesnt have anything I can clip that to.

Great seat belt for added safety! The adjustable metal buckle makes it easy to secure my dog in the car, and the elastic bungee gives him just enough room to move around without compromising safety. I love the reflective material for nighttime visibility. My only small issue is that it can be a bit tricky to get it on the first few times, but once you get used to it, it’s smooth sailing. Overall, a solid choice for dog owners!

I use both connected to the back of my dog's harness and he can safely car surf with his head and chest out the window without me having to worry about him hitting his head on the dash or jumping/falling out of the window and hurting himself. The stretch of it also keeps him from getting jerked to a halt when he moves too quickly. He absolutely loves using it and looks forward to going on drives. Everyone we drive past starts smiling because they can see that he's living his best life! Some more squirrelly dogs might get themselves and their legs tied up, but most of the time when my dog is in the passenger seat, I can easily see if he's starting to get tangled and easily prevent it with a quick command or a slight adjustment with my hand. Love how durable it's been, how easy it is to use once you get the hang of it, how comfortably my dog is able to ride in the car and mostly how much peace of mind I have knowing that he's safe. In case of an accident, it would be difficult for him to free himself from the car, but he could chew through them if he really needed to get free. I believe this is safer than letting him roam free in the car or having him belted in such a way that he could injure himself. Total game changer for car rides with pup and he's always happy to put on his harness to go for a drive. Warning, though: this may encourage your pup to pull more on a leash on walks due to being accustomed to the resistance of the pull of the bungee cords from riding in the car. Other than that, it's a simple solution to all of our car adventure needs!

2 large dogs can ride in our back seat safely for trips to the vet or park. They don’t seem to be bothered by it at all and they are picky poodles.

This safety harness is great! I don't have to remove it and it doesn't get in the way if I take a person instead of my dog in the passenger seat. When I take my dog she can lie down or stand up without falling if I suddenly have to hit my breaks.

Game changer! I've always used the ones that plug into the seatbelts, this is so much easier and the dogs are more comfortable.

This works really well with the harness we purchased. I really like the harness that connects over the head rest. This is great for when the dog is on the back seat or in the boot. Update The dog can easily move about safely. Be aware, the back headrest seat restraint clip that connects to the harness, the strap came loose from the clip and pulled through out of the clip meaning our puppy was loose in the boot. There is nothing to stop it from pulling through the clip. I have now machine sewed the strap to the clip.
