⁤The THINKCAR OBD2 Scanner is a new addition to my garage and has already proven to be quite useful. ⁤⁤This gadget offers thorough diagnostics for a variety of systems, including ABS, SRS, ECM, TCM, BCM, AC, and IC. ⁤⁤It is also very user-friendly. ⁤⁤It fits all of my cars because it covers more than 10,000 automobile models. ⁤ ⁤The five special service options are really great since they let me do things like reset the oil and bleeding the ABS without having to go to the mechanic. ⁤⁤For FCA SGW vehicles, the AutoAuth feature is a big bonus, especially for the more recent models that come with security gateway modules. ⁤ ⁤The simplicity of usage of this scanner is among my favorite features. ⁤⁤The live data readout is crisp and detailed, and the UI is simple to use. ⁤⁤I can now confidently identify and fix problems on my own, saving time and money on repairs. ⁤ ⁤One small drawback that I could think of is that the initial setup takes a little while, especially when updating the software. ⁤⁤But once everything is configured, it functions flawlessly, and the upgrades are worthwhile because they bring more features. ⁤ ⁤All things considered, the Scanner is a great purchase for any auto enthusiast or do-it-yourselfer. ⁤⁤It's detailed, dependable, and has already paid for itself by assisting me in identifying and resolving problems at home. ⁤⁤Strongly advised! ⁤

So I had an issue with my car after getting the transmission replaced. Whenever I turned left for the first time I’d get a Hill Hold disabled fault, a EPS System Fault, and my ABS light would come on and My Traction Control light would come on. Also, it disabled my cruise control. I was so annoyed because when the lights would clear after turning off the car so when I turned it on and start driving the diagnostic codes didn’t pop until a certain condition was met. When that condition was met the lights would pop on and the abs would engage slamming the car to a stop…. So I found a work around by starting the car and immediately turn the steering wheel to full left lock and engaging the fault. The problem was that the car is no longer in production and the manufacturer is no longer producing cars in the us making solving the problem even harder. With that, this device was a life saver. I was able to use the steering angle sensor feature to reset and calibrate my steering angle sensor which lost proper calibration when the steering components were removed for the transmission swap. Thank the heavens for this device being robust and at this price point. I would definitely recommend.

I have to say, this thing works great. I bought it for a few older vehicles I have, and wanted to not use my expensive Bluetooth connected one. The Bluetooth ones don't always work with the 1996-1999 vehicles. But, this thing works perfectly fine. It is slow, but has not disappointed so far. If you need a good OBD2 reader that works on MANY manufacturers, this thing does a great job. Can easily erase codes, and do the job. It doesn't do some certain things well (like reading the VIN from the computer), but like I said, the basic job, it does very well.

I do NOT recommend this company at all. I purchased one of these for my personal fleet and made the mistake of trying to use it too late. I tried to activate the Start/Stop Premium feature for one of my vehicles and that didn't work at all. Their IT team couldn't figure it out and said there's nothing they can do. Amazon also couldn't help since I tried it after the 30 days. I would highly recommend going elsewhere!!!

I have a couple of other OBD2 scanners but they are the small budget friendly kind, they do the basics but are limited, this one on the other hands can do so much more. I like the look with the bigger screen and handle, I plugged it in to my Suzuki Jimny to try it out, it came on as soon as I started the vehicle up, just needed to choose the make, and there are plenty to choose, one that information was in I just needed to choose what I wanted it to check, so chose health report and off it went, checking for error codes and any problems, it started to scan lots of different engine, gear box, braking systems etc, although the Jimny is a very basic vehicle and only the engine management and airbag system ended up getting a report, our Nissan is another thing, that has it all so for that vehicle this might come in useful, I just hope I don't have to use it. This can be connected to Wi-Fi although I was not close enough to the house to pick ours up, but I believe it can be set to scan and use open net works. I find it very easy to navigate through the settings and easy to read, I do wish though that this would have come with some kind of cover to protect the screen when not in use, so far that's the only negative and it's not enough to knock a star off for.

Avis : 5 étoiles ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ … Outil de diag qui respire la qualité (grand écran tactile et bien protégé) et très intuitif (navigation multilingue et simplicime) pour les passionnés, la mise en route est simple et l’utilisation d’autant plus (documentation et mise à jours par wifi ultra rapide et complète), permet avec avoir fait toutes les mise à jours de diag la plupart des pannes et défauts (hors Clim, vitres, combiné d’instrument) vous pourrez choisir 3 fonctions (parmi 28 dispo) à réinitialiser (moteur, codage clef, ESP, boîte de vitesse, airbag, …) gratuitement (et à vie), si vous voulez en avoir plus il faudra payer (30€/fonction/an) , mais dans les faits pour moi 3 auront suffis 😊. Rapport utilisation/simplicité/prix (89€) c’est du matériel professionnel à un tarif abordable et efficace. Certes il faut le brancher (pas de fonction BT sur cet version de base) mais le résultat est là pour économiser, si vous vous y connaissez en mécanique et électronique véhicule pour des opérations de dépannage standard sans avoir à payer 100 à 200€ de diagnostic dans un garage qui malheureusement sont de plus en plus à faire payer ce simple « passage à la valise » comme les garagiste/concessionnaire aime à le dire ! Le détail + : Il sait entrer dans les véhicules intégrant des protections de type pare-feu SGW / AutoAuth. Néanmoins pour les fonctions plus avancés ou 2 autres réinitialisation gratuite prévoyez de monter en gamme (mais il faudra là être plutôt expert dans le domaine pour toucher à ce type de diag : BCM/AC/IC) avec des tarif montant à 200€. Sachant que la gamme la plus évoluer (le S7 : https://amzn.eu/d/8GgzMGZ) ne permet quand même pas d’aller dans les fonctions avancés dites « concessionnaire » de type codage complexe de modules, programmation avancée de calculateurs, adaptations profondes ou mises à jour logicielles constructeur … Ou alors il vous faudra passer au version pro (https://amzn.eu/d/4Mt3kT8) à 510€ et utilisation OBD2 BT avec écran/tablette déporté.

4 estrellas por qué las instrucciones en español comienzan en español y terminan en no se que idioma y por qué no es claro al inicio las instrucciones, como consejo actualizarla antes de usarla!! El resto la vdd es que muy útil la herramienta.
