I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but I used this set with my son in the fall, and it performed as expected. What impressed me was that I left the knife in the gut pile and covered it in snow for a few months. Despite this, it cleaned up exceptionally well and still looks like it was brand new. The photo is from after I recovered it.

Great deal that I’d recommend to any hunter. I cleaned a deer with this set that my buddy had. I liked them so much that I ordered my own set. Great grip and very sharp. The design makes it comfortable to hold. They are are easy to use and functionality is as expected.

Good quality, sharp instruments

I added these to part of our harvest bag that we use for harvesting and dressing livestock. It’s just for family use, so we do 1 - 6 head at a time. When we were doing 6, I decided to get a second set of tools. They are not the same as my primary set, which are expensive and old; however, these performed quite well. So there are 8 pieces. I’m not impressed with the camo pattern, but it’s fine. The handles had good grip and that’s most important. 1. Caping Knife - 4 inch blade. I prefer longer but the sharpness made up for the length, even if you needed a second cut. 2. Gut Hook Skinner - super sharp and the hook was nice 3. Filet knife - performed well Big question that I cannot answer is the ability to sharpen these. These are my back ups, so I do not need to sharpen them yet. 4. Bone saw - too short for rams/sheep. I don’t harvest deer, so I’m not sure. It’s definitely the worse one I own. 5. Rib Spreader - really flimsy and not easy to operate 6. “Knife and Spear” Sharpener - well it’s compact and practically worthless 7. Nylon belt sheath - that I would never use 8. A few very cheap plastic gloves - should not be in the count lol 9. So maybe 8 should be the case, which is fine and the expected quality in this price range. So this purchase was good, and the tools served their purpose. Price was ok if you really look at what you are going to use. For frequent use, probably a bad choice, For annual or occasional use, this may be a great fit.

All 3 knives are perfect for processing and all arrived with really good edges already on them. The bone saw could be a little longer but gets the job done and has good cutting teeth. The rib cage spreader is kinda a novelty piece I’ll probably never use but someone may. The sharpener keeps a good edge for out in the field. Probably won’t use the sheath as there’s no good way to clean it. All in all I am very pleased with this set at least for processing out white tail deer.

I ordered this as a kit to use for farm processing and hunting tools. Knives are sharp And have a nice weight to them. Comfortable non slip grip. I ordered the orange so they would be easy to see if covered in “processing stuff”. I have small to medium hands and these are comfortable for me to grip and use. Love the hard shell carry case perfect to throw into my pack and head out hunting not heavy in the pack. This would make a great gift for a beginner or avid hunter.

Got these to add to my first hunting pack. I really like that they have a hard case and that everything is well organized. The bright colour makes it easy to find when I put them down. Con was the smell when I first opened the package but it went away after I washed the entire thing and let it air dry.

Knifes came dirty and very dull can’t use the item as intended for field dress with dull blades very disappointing definitely should not be dirty
