Lowercase Alphabet Chips

These magnet alphabet lowercase letters are small but I use them for individual small group work with students at my small group table. Everyone (usually 4 students) will get a container with the letters a-z to do their word work activity in his/her own space. In addition, it makes it more interesting for the student to use something else than the typical magnetic letters.

Very convenient and fun for centers. I also bought more magnetic wands and my students love it.

These are great and could be used for a variety of lessons. There are 6 sets of the alphabet in it. I would love something like this to include some of the extra sounds like some of their other products such as “oa,” “ee,” “th,” etc.

My 4 year old LOVED using these to learn sight words and more! Made learning fun!

These are great for fine motor activities and for letter sounds and CVC and spelling practice. A great product at a great price.

At first I thought the price was too high but them realized one jar made six sets of the alphabet! I LOVE this product and plan to buy another! My students love to use these with the magnetic wands and segmenting trays.

These are smaller and lighter than what I expected. I was expecting quarter size chips with a slight weight to it. However these are extremely light. The diameter of the container is about the size of a standard post-it. The chips are two thin plastic discs with another thin magnetic coin in-between. The magnet piece is slightly smaller than the two outer discs (like an Oreo). However the companion magnetic wand is really strong and they do have a strong enough hold on the chips. My only wish is if these were a tad bit bigger.

These chips are perfect for spelling practice. I set out all the letters in the word, plus one or two extra, and have him pull out the extra and arrange the rest to spell the word. The magnetic wand makes it that much more fun to “get rid” of the extra letters. He loves these.

I have been using these in my classroom for word work. Students enjoy using the magnetic wands with these letters to sound out words.

There are may sets so good for a small class, however I wish they a little larger as they can be hard to pick up, well at least for adult learners!

These are really handy for homework helping at home to support school learning. The counters however are much smaller than anticipated between a 5p and 20p coin would have preferred them larger. But because they're small does mean they're easy to store.

I was expecting the lowercase alphabet chips to be larger.

I love using these for literacy sessions with my clients. Kids love being able to scoop them up with the magnetic wand after they’ve spelled or decoded their words!
