I am a filmmaker who's primary camera is a Blackmagic USRA Mini Pro 12k. The camera is capable of recording raw video at up to 60 frames per second at 12k resolution. Not surprisingly, this creates a massive amount data that needs to be written to a SSD very quickly (around 3.2GB/s at the top end, which is actually more throughput than the SSD itself can sustain). I've tested this cable against six others, all at various price points. This Fasgear cable is the most reliable of the ones I've tested and can handle sustained throughput of at least 1.8 GB/s (~14.4 gigabit) with my SSD and camera.
