When Lowes delivered, they told me they were not allowed to install it using my old hoses. Logically the original hoses themselves were fine, they just probably needed new seals. I couldn't find the same kind of seals at Lowes or Home Depot and when I saw the price of new hoses, I thought they were crazy! This 2 pack was cheaper than the majority of single hoses at the big box chains... I decided to go with 6 feet over the 4 foot ones that I had previously... this way I can move the washer out away from the wall and clean behind it with relative ease. I know it doesn't matter but I appreciate the red and blue stripes on the hoses indicating hot and cold. That's a nice touch. These hoses are flexible, easy to install and have a cool industrial look to them.
