Economical alternative to name brand pottery ribs
These come a little stiff out of the box but they’ve softened up after throwing a few pottery pieces on the wheel. Comes in 3 sizes. Can’t beat the value of having 3 ribs for the price of 1!

Perfect for smoothing and compressing slabs
These are a semi-rigid rubber-like material, not a super-soft silicone. When wheel throwing, I prefer a flexible metal rib, but I cannot imagine hand building without these. Nothing smooths and compresses a slab better.

Bought these but don't use them. I guess they don't perform for what I thought I needed them for.

Love these ribs!
These are firmer than the typical "red" rib which is generally pretty soft. However, I love their shape and they work well with projects. The shape of the largest one is perfect to help in making uniformed size/shaped bowls, and the strait side has helped me in throwing taller. Highly recommend!

missing holes to grasp the tools
They are flexible enough, but since they don't have a hole in them, I find them hard to handle when throwing on the wheel. Ended up getting others with holes.
