I have (3) sets of 3-tier cake stand plates, (7) teacups, (7) saucers, and (7) dessert plates. There's enough room for a couple more in each. Something to note: the plate dividers are very thin, so they are really just meant to protect the chinaware from scratching while storing them at home. For reference, before I got this storage set, I put paper towels between the plates to prevent scratches, and the Sorbus plate dividers are thinner than paper towels I used. So I wouldn't count on these to protect your chinaware from cracking or chipping if you plan to move or transport them in a car, etc. I highly recommend these if you want a neat and sturdy storage option for bone china. Review: I love these, ordered two sets and need a third. Perfect for the giant china set I've inherited and completed over the years. I've already told my friends about them.

I love these storage containers, they are hard shell and very durable. I have a Christmas place setting for 12. My china fit perfectly with room to spare. This product is just as described. For years I stored my china in soft storage containers. This year I opened the soft storage containers only to discover a plate had gotten chipped. I will no longer need to worry about that with this set. So glad I found these containers.
