The quality and aesthetics are superb.
I've eaten one of the packs and have another thawing in the refrigerator. I find the taste to be rather delicious. This is the only head cheese I have ever had that uses only the snout of the hog. No joules or ears appear to be used. The slices are meaty, and flavor is on the mild side, which I like from time to time. Other times I just sprinkle a few drops of hot sauce to give it a more vinegarish flavor. Also, the slices are not supper thin, but they are not thick either. I agree with one of the other reviews, it would be nice to have thinner slices available. My thought is if it was available in a whole piece that can be sliced or cubed as I choose that would be great, especially for the upcoming Holiday festivities. I enjoy this head cheese alone or with saltine crackers. For now, thank you Koegel, I'm glad I found you.

So, so Good
So Good. Satisfies my need for this type of product since local Boar's Head discontinued. Good expiration date. I'm in heaven. Sliced just right for sandwiches. Hope Amazon can re-continue. I must have purchased the last of their supply. Highly recommend.
