Thai Deodorant Stone Crystal Stone in Basket

I bought this recently because I couldn’t find the one I usually buy. So I took a chance on this one. Crystal stones work really well and this one is extra nice because of the curved shape on one side. And I love the little white basket that comes with. I always dry the stone after I’ve used it to keep it from deteriorating. This is outstanding and I will buy this from now on. Highly, highly recommended. It works!

I have literally been using this deodorant every day for ~2-3 years now. I love that it is all natural and I don't have to worry about toxic ingredients going in my armpits. It's definitely not anti-perspirant, though, so expect some sweat. But it seems to take care of the smell better than standard deodorants I've used in the past. And no residue or staining on clothes. Plus this lasts much longer, is more environmentally friendly, and MUCH better on my skin and body overall. I expect to be a lifelong customer. HOW I APPLY IT: BEFORE getting dressed I get it wet with cold water, rub on one pit, then rinse with cold water before rubbing on the other pit, then rinse one more time before putting it back in its holder. This rinsing is to get the bacteria off of the stone so I'm not just spreading it from one area to the next. I also do this before I get dressed just because I personally don't like getting my clothes wet since there is a little water residue from rinsing the stone.

I really love this deodorant. It works better than all the antiperspirants and natural deodorants I’ve ever tried (and I’ve tried a LOT) for keeping away body odor smell, plus it’s not sticky. I buy this one instead of the stick version, as that one always falls out of the plastic holder and breaks as it gets smaller with use. I do keep this one on a soap holder though, as there’s always crystals that leak underneath the basket. If it came with a solid pad for underneath the basket, that would be perfect.

I love the product. But it always comes broken and I have to return it! Return process is not easy. Would appreciate being able to send back USPS.

I bought this product because my deodorant stopped working. Not because I'm worried about the aluminum content in deodorants. I've had this problem in the past and have always been able to remedy it switching deodorant brands. This last time though none of them worked. I stunk within hours of application. Desperate I began researching and found the deodorant stones as an option. I read lots of reviews from multiple brands and have only tried THAI. The important thing though is that it worked. I didn't have results right away like many people have stated. The first week of applying at night after a shower only provided a little change in odor. After a few days with little results I tried multiple applications and a larger surface area. After washing the odor from my underarms I reapplied the product from 2 to 3 times a day and subsequently got a sore rash. I think it was just too much. The rash cleared in 24hrs with a little hydrocortisone cream. Around this time though I noticed that I wasn't having near the odor as before so I continued using the stone. In two to three weeks time I would say I have very little BO. So far after about a month of using this product I still have a little BO that I can smell on my clothes at the end of the day. I do shave my underarms in the shower and apply after. Naturally If you use it like I do, the product will sting a little from the micro shaving cuts when you first start using it. It felt like something was prickling my underarms until it dried. For the first few weeks that prickling feeling, almost like an itch, returned when I would sweat during the day and the product became wet again. Now that my body is used to it I no longer have that happen. Now because I am a heavier sweater the idea of the stone not providing an antiperspirant was a bit troubling. The last week or so I have been applying both the stone and a newly bought traditional deodorant, but I find that I have more odor when I use them together. It doesn't make sense to me but my nose isn't lying. I haven't had any staining of my cloths. The stone its self is a little larger than an extra large egg. It sits nicely in the basket they provided on my sink and I think it would look nice in any bathroom. I can't say this product is a miracle and that I have absolutely no odor when using it but it definitely worked for me. Maybe even a little better than my traditional deodorants. I have forgotten to apply it a few times and not had problems with OB the next day, Perhaps the salt has killed off an overgrowth of bacteria that was causing increased BO.

I love Thai deoderant, but inevitably, as the stick got smaller due to use, it would occasionally fall out of it's holder and break into a million shards. When I managed to make it last, it would easily last almost an entire year...maybe 10 months. This version is so much nicer. You just hold it in your hand with no worries about it falling out of the holder. Works just as well, same ingredients, no aluminum and really DOES last 24 hours....and I come from a long line of heavy sweaters. You really do get the most bang for you buck and it delivers. I know you're not supposed to use anything with it, but it glides on easier if I put on witch hazel after I wash to put it on. It doesn't effect it's performance and I don't have to keep putting it under the water to allow it to glide on skin. Definitely a money maker. I hope they continue to make this version. I' ve been using this stuff for about ten years now.

Crystal deodoran either works or doesnt for me, but usually doesnt give me a rash. This one gave me a rash. Maybe it's not for me. I tried the other version of this not as a free rock but that one always smelled if i put it back in the container, and i wanted one that i would be able to use more of rather than leave the itty bit that remains in the holder.

Growing up in the Philippines, we use this type (not brand) of natural deodorant. Ours was already the ground up or powdered like type that you rub on your pits. My friends were always asking me why my pits are white and not dark. And that's because I use the natural kind of deodorant and not the ones you buy at the store that can be potentially harmful. When I came to the US, I didn't bring some with me and instead, I used the unnatural ones and that's when my pits started turning darker or stained. I am glad that I found this product because it just works for me. It is natural, unscented, easy to apply (just wet the stone and rub it on your pits), and it literally will last you for a long time. I have been using this for almost two months now and it hasn't stained my pits at all. My husband also uses this natural deodorant, and honey, it works for him. Boy am I glad! He doesn't like to use other deodorants either, especially the ones that are scented. It is just awful! He uses this right after shower and he doesn't even have to reapply it. I don't have to reapply either, even the next day. That's how well it works for us. And you know what? This would also work as a great gift to those people you know with BO. But then you don't have the courage to tell them the truth. Just tell them that you are so excited about this new natural deodorant product that you have discovered that works best and you want all your family and friends to try it because it simply works. LOL! I am thinking of getting the little push-up stick ones though for our travel bag because I think it is just more convenient for travel rather than this stone one. Thank you, Thai Crystal!
