BEWARE A LOT OF PEOPLE RETURN THIS CAMERA, IS NOT COMPATIBLE. VIDEO FLICKERS, DROPS COMPELTELY WITHIN SECONDS. DO NOT BUY unless seller gurantees it will work. Yos spend a full day dismantling dashboard, trunk and more.for nothing. Now I cant even return it, as i would have to spend another full day to take out everything out and send to seller. I should get a refund.

Okay first off, this camera is around $40. Its not a $250+ backup camera and since I've gone so many years without one, I was happy just to have one and really didn't want to drop a ton of money on what very well may be just another rendition of one of those pricier, similar products, but I digress. Anywho, I have a 2013 BMW 328i F30 with 150k miles that came with zero options besides doors, wheels and windows. So after upgrading my 10 year old IDrive unit to a Koason 10.25 Android one and realizing it has the capability to be used with a backup camera i came across this one and for the price, I bought it. Installation wasn't difficult but rather very time consuming however this isn't an issue with the product or seller but rather the task. I strongly suggest watching videos on how to wire a backup camera before purchasing and also try to find one related to your vehicle specifically. The Kies motorsports videos were super helpful! Furthermore before taking your car apart I would run the cable to the front of the car (without securing it) and wire it up briefly to make sure the camera and trunk handle works before ripping up all of your interior panels! This doesn't come with instructions but that's probably for the better since Amazon products have a tendency to be Anglicized very poorly. I'm not sure if the reverse lines are a camera issue or a head unit/MMI unit issue. As soon as i put my car into reverse it pulls the backup camera, however within my particular Koason head unit, it has the ability to add/remove and program the reverse lines. This leads me to my next point: The camera is "fish-eyed" and a little hard to judge distance depending on where you are, but overall the image quality is decent at 720p. There was an issue with the trunk handle. I installed the new handle as it came and during my test run, I realized the trunk would not open with the new mechanism, furthermore, the two-pin connector does not lock into place, but rather just "plugs in" to its connector as opposed to the OEM handle I ended up having to remove the old mechanism and replacing the new one with it, overall this was not a huge deal but I slightly damaged the faceplate of the new handle. Thankfully I didn't damage the camera.

Had this installed on my 2015 F22, did not come factory with a camera and I installed a carplay module from roadtop. The camera works perfectly and was straight forward simple enough. Looks great and helps tremendously parking parallel in NYC. Not sure if it’ll work with the factory unit without an android screen upgrade or module upgrade though.

Perfect fit. Also, this DID come with the trunk hatch/boot trigger switch. All you need to do is plug in the electrical connector, and you can open the trunk with handle access along with having the camera installed. Great value for the price.

BMWにアンドロイドナビを付けましたがｉドライブと連携がうまくいかずバックモニターが映らなくなったためこのカメラを直接アンドロイドナビに繋ぎました。純正バックカメラより画質は劣りますが使えます。画質は純正10.25インチから12.3インチに変更したので落ちたかもしれません。

It’s the worst, set it up and it is terrible image is bad and glitchy

Produit bas de gamme qui, malgré une installation effectuée par un Pro, ne fonctionne pas correctement : Image brouillée (avec interférence ) Image noire régulièrement Fonctionne bien les 3 premières secondes Très déçu de mon achat mais étant déjà installé je ne peux faire faire la manipulation inverse.

Not compatible with the existing cabling in my F30 BMW. Requires a rewire. Pay more and buy a compatible unit that plugs in would be my advice. Boot release button also doesn't come with a wired connection so you would need to buy this separately.
