I wanted something that would be a little more comfortable than the mat that comes with the pnp. This mattress was as hard or harder than the pnp mat. Baby slept terribly on it. More importantly, I was concerned that although it says that there should be no off-gasing of toxic chemicals in the description online, there was no reference to this on the mattress packaging. The tag on the mattress indicated that it was manufactured in 2014 and met California tb117, which without any information to the contrary led me to believe it was full of toxic flame retardants. I did not have time to return the mattress during our vacation, but we will not be using it again and I would urge others not to buy it. Luckily starting in 2015, mattresses are supposed to be labeled to indicate if they contain chemical flame retardants or not, so once they sell off all of their toxic 2014 models, it might be safe to buy it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Way better than nothing! *by C***T on Reviewed in the United States on January 2, 2015* So, the "mattress" that's included with pack n plays is a joke. I can't even blame my babies for wailing all night when we travel... I'd yell, too, if someone made me sleep on that. Was hoping this would solve all of my problems... and, it's not bad. Makes the bedding more comfortable, but my picky kiddos are in no way tricked into thinking it's just like their crib mattress at home. Worth the price, but brace yourself that it might not persuade your kid to sleep through the night during your vacation. Fits Graco Pack 'n Play On The Go Travel Play Yard perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This little mattress did the trick. *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2015* We have the Ingenuity pack n play play yard, and, like many of the reviewers here, we found the mattress that came with it to be just awful. It lumps at the folds and is basically worthless as it won't lay flat. This little mattress did the trick. It fits perfectly the width, but at one end, when its pushed down, there's a few inches of a gap. I was really concerned about this initially but we oriented the baby to the other side and rolled up a blanket in the other end to prevent it from sliding. Now that he's bigger and more mobile, I don't worry about it at all. The gap is very shallow. This mattress fits the standard play year mattress pretty well and it's easy to clean. Also, we did notice the smell initially, it's a factory manufactured product, so I think that is to be expected. It went away in a few days. And, "quilted cover" does not mean cloth.
