Nice Printer
We bought this for our home when the last printer died. We have to say we really like this one. It starts up right away and prints fairly quick for a budget printer. The scanning work very well and is easy to use. Double-sided printing has been error free also.

Inexpensive but quality printer
This was a rather inexpensive printer which has many great qualities- wireless, power button on the front, print quality is good, double sided scanning and fairly easy to install. The reason for the one less star is that it was easy to install on one computer but I still have to use the cable for another- it won't sync for some reason. We will continue to tinker but for the price and quality it's a good buy.

Fast print and duplex scanning!
I got a wonderful deal on this printer, and I don’t regret it for a moment! It has exceptional, speed and many options. I’ve used it to print an envelope, and that was relatively easy to figure out copies are simple and very fast and printing from any wireless device is a breeze. Using some of the more complicated features was more complicated than it needed to be. For instance, scanning a document and uploading it to a cloud server was extremely complicated. Do you have to go to the IP address of the printer, then go through a ton of different settings to configure it And then it only allows you to do it in that one preset manner you are unable to change whether you’re submitting a JPEG or PDF color or black-and-white so you would need a different button programmed for every type of scan that you want to do, as I said previously, unnecessarily complicated . My last printer had a single button that said, upload the cloud, and you could press that and then choose your options before you start at the scan, but given all the features available and the variety of ways to get documents, saved to cloud or local hard drive., this was definitely worth it!

Pretty Good Printer
My old color canon laser printer had latest 12 years and was a true work-horse. It died and I wanted to replace with a newer model color printer but had not realized the price had increase so much! After really evaluating my needs I decided a mono printer would work fine. Even though this printer was more costly than I wanted to pay, I did shop around and felt I received the best price. It arrived before the scheduled delivery date. Most of all I have been impressed with how easy it was to connect to devices and how quickly it prints. Would buy again!

Cannon printers are great!
When I was searching for a monochrome laser printer with scanning and copying capabilities, I decided to go with Canon—and I’m so glad I did! The copy machines at work are Canon and perform reliably, so I figured it would be a great choice for home use too. This printer has exceeded my expectations. After a couple of years of consistent use, it’s still running smoothly without a single issue. Highly recommend!

Meh...
I've had a string of bad luck with printers that spans years - no decades. Admittedly, my standards may be too high. I have a dream of hitting 'print' on my laptop and the page blossoming forth from a little machine. But, this dream escapes me. The old cliche seems to fit, ‘We can put a man on the moon...’ but putting ink on paper with an affordable printer is outside the capabilities of humankind. To be clear, the printer works much of the time. But for the money I spent, I would expect it to work 90-95% of the time. In reality, about 50% of the time there will be some sort of printer drama to deal with to get a simple page. Any print has a fair chance of paper jams, less-than-quality prints, or a minimum of overly complex menus to perform fundamental functions.Too often I have to clear an invisible ‘paper jam’. There is no paper bunched up, nor is there any irregularity in the feed tray. The printer simply refuses to print because it senses an invisible paper jam. Often I shout out loud, ‘There’s nothing to be afraid of, just print!’ Then I realize, I'm talking to a printer. I go through the motions and clear the invisible paper jam; take out the tray, pull the front cover off, and remove then reinsert the ink cartridge. And I say, "There. Happy now?" and I realize I'm still talking to a printer.Nevertheless, it seems to get it working. It's like checking the closet for monsters before my daughter can go to sleep, it seems to resolve the invisible issue. As stated, I've had years of printer issues from many models of printers. I've gradually increased my budget from cheaper models to now the $300-plus Canon model. Through the years printing simply seemed beyond my grasp; which is a little surprising because I've owned a tech company for over 30 years. For the money, I expected a simpler setup, better and consistent quality, with fewer interruptions. But alas, it is not meant to be. It is clear now, I will live my life without ever reaching the dream of simply hitting 'print' and a machine that will just do it. If I knew of a better printer, I would recommend it. It seems all printers come with sordid disappointment. Thus, I give it a solid 3 out of five stars. A solid ‘Meh’.Still, though, I carry the vision in my heart. I have been to the mountain top. And I've seeeeen a world where printers work. I may not get there with you. But I dream of a day when my children will hit ‘print’, and the printer will simply print.

Works great! Looks awesome! Great printer!
I opted for this model because it had all the features of the higher priced, minus the Fax. I especially like the 5-in color touch screen. This machine literally set itself up. I had no trouble whatsoever. From the moment I turned it on, it prompted me to answer a few questions and I have been printing non-stop for the last 3 days. For $200, it's a keeper! I've now had it for 2 weeks and I love it even more.
