Does what it's supposed to

Easy to read measurements. Button respond and work with easy presses. Great value. Nice size, easy to carry around. Just make sure if you want readings in fractions, you get the correct model. This one only gave inches and mm. Time to bone up on my inches/decimal/mm to fractions math.

Great item and I would buy it again

Isn't accurate at all. Had the dealership and a tire shop measure my tires and both shops read them at 9's but this was measuring them at 6's. That's a big difference. Tried several times to zero it out but could never get accurate readings.

This is a basic depth gauge with a micrometer head. It has a stem that measures inches from 0 to 1 inch in thousandths, not 32nds. You have to convert the reading or just know that 2 32nds is 1/16 inch or 0.062 inches. There are others that have the 32nds on the read-out but they cost more and you can do a lot more than just read tire tread depth with this one. It also reads in millimeters and one millimeter is just a little more than 1/32nd. That will get you a close comparison to 32ns.

Seems well made and is easy to use. Comes with a pouch to keep it in. The scale is clear and the numbers are large enough to read without my reading glasses. I appreciate the scale being in millimetres and that it does not require batteries.
