Of course.I bought 12by24 and 12by4.5 mats and they work perfectly with heat transfer vinyl and permanent vinyl.

No.I have tried for several times and they don't have an odor.

No, it is too narrow. Your mat must fit under both feed rollers. These are only for the Cricut Joy. You can find great deals for 12x12 mats on Amazon.

Are these mats as sticky as other brand name Cricut?

I think they are sticky enough and I have tried several brands and these joy mats are just as good as the Cricut brand but cost a lot less.Put the right material on the right mat and they will work perfectly.
