Review: Fabulous fan light, highly recommended - Wow, had I known how good these units really are I would have purchased long ago! Like many I had reservations over reliability, performance, noise and ease of installation BUT all exceeded my expectations. Chanfok has done a wonderful job of producing a fan light that offers variable brightness, colour tones and genuinely effective fan performance at every level. The unit when spinning is secure and virtually noiseless, with the rotary speeds of 1-6 producing more than ample breeze. Having the option to reverse the spin is superb feature for assisting heating a space rather than cooling, with the 1/2 hour timer options a welcome bonus. All features are operable from the handy included remote control, the smartphone app (optional download) or via Alexa depending on the model. Quality is superb too and this care extends to the fabulous English instruction guide and the ease of installation with all fixings supplied. If in any doubt, hire an electrician, but for those more confident the wiring and ceiling fixing is EASY. Wire connections (Live, Neutral & Ground) are made via supplied twist on wire nuts so it couldn’t be simpler. **Q: My fan or light isn’t turning on. I’ve changed the remote batteries**
A: Have you checked it’s not been switched off at the light switch?  Also how does it respond with the FanLamp Pro app

**Q: How far down from the ceiling is this fan?**
A: Standard height..  every other function works with the remote , but the pairing with Bluetooth app doesn’t work

**Q: Does this work with the Home Assistant system?**
A: Alexa yes so I assume it's compatible with others

**Q: you turn the fan off with Alexa, if so how?**
A: Our smart fan will be connected to Alexa as 2 separate devices, one device is the light, the other is the fan, so you need to rename the devices, for example, name light as "chanfok light", name the fan as " chanfok fan".
There's no control page for the fan, But you can still control the fan by voice.
just say
"Alexa, turn on/off the chanfok fan."
"Alexa, set the chanfok fan to speed 6."
That will work.
