so far, so good and hopefully will remain rust resistant
Why buy stainless steel hardware? Because I made a rust resistant board with plastic penny deck, aluminum trucks and weatherproof bearings (rush). So I bought these knowing they'd get wet, hoping for no rust. 5 or 6 rain skate sessions in and they're great. No rust signs yet.

Don't skimp on the hardware
I've had cheapo screws before; so cheap that during installation, the screw heads would strip off. These Fireball screws were durable and strong. My build was a 70's vintage board and the holes on the deck didn't quite line up. I used a rubber mallet to gently tap in the truck onto the deck and was afraid the screws would snap but they held up! This had solid threading on the screws as well as the accompanying nuts.

Good hardware
Great for the price. Could include washers for the wheels/bearings and nuts for the wheels. That’s why I give it four stars. Quality though is great. Comes with stickies. I ordered the 1.25 for my 1/4 risers

No more rust! Smooth sailing and squeak free
I live close to the beach, so rust on my Arbor longboard is a problem. My board was pretty squeaky, and a friend of mine who works with skateboard repairs recommended getting these to eliminate the sound and freshen up the look of the board. I found this full stainless steel set avail on Amazon and decided to give them a go. In this hardware set, both the nuts and the bolts are stainless, so far so good! Easy to swap out.

When you partake in fireball products, you end up screwed before they nut and bolt.

Sturdy and stainless
With the extra length and the extra load (skate log with wide carving trucks in my case) you need the extra material strength. The nuts are a bit beefier than common skateboard hardware and the nyloc is of good quality.
