Wire insulation is soft & flexible as stated, but almost certainly NOT SILICON. Alligator clips are soldered but very small & slip around inside the insulated jackets. I'll keep these and just replace the clips with ones that are a bit larger & easier for these old hands to use. Resistance is fairly low & adequate for most hobby applications. After few days use, I have to admit that I do like these leads because they are light weight and does not torque the connections.

These test leads have performed perfectly both for measuring with a multimeter and to deliver power to circuits.

These are a reasonably good meter lead for basic multi meter tasks. They are flexible, the clips are good and the wire resistance is fairly low. If you're looking for perfect scope quality leads you need to up your price point. These work really well for wire harness troubleshooting or following a trace on a circuit board. Perfect for what I bought them for.

Handy to have when troubleshooting

Yeah, they are inexpensive, but they seem fine so far. I was tired of not having hook clips on hand so broke down and bought two sets of these (one for each meter) and they are soft and flexible enough and clips seem solid enough.

These things do what they are supposed to, but, pretty light duty.
