Excellent filters for easy, no mess brewing!
Pictured made in Cafe De Chateau's cold brew pitcher (with its own filter not used of course). Very simple to use; simply fill 3/4ths of the way with coffee grounds, tighten and tie up the string, put it in the pitcher, fill with water, use lid to hold in place (it floats!) and wait 12-24 hours to finish steeping. Resulting brew came out excellent and completely free of sediment. There is one small thing one might notice, and that's that there are small, tiny white fibers floating around sparsely in the coffee. I dunno if this is because I left the string in the container instead of letting it hang out, but they don't affect taste and texture and are perfectly harmless, so I'm not deducting any points for that, though if you're really OCD about the appearance I guess you could strain them out. I saw some negative reviews pointing out that their coffee was weak because the bag floated too much or that one bag wasn't enough for 2L (obviously!), so some tips are to use one bag per liter/quart of water, and to hold the bag down with a lid so that it stays properly submerged. Doing so should result in a proper strong, black brew, as you can see here. Made with Gevalia Special Reserve Guatemala Coarse Medium Roast Ground Coffee. No sediment seeped in, where-as it would seep in with Cafe Du Chateau's included steel filter with the same grounds, so it's a success, and far easier to clean up after.

These make cold brew SO easy!
These are amazing! I wanted to start doing cold brew coffee last spring. So many people said just put your grounds in the jar & fill with water; then when it has finished brewing, "just filter out the grounds!" That was the biggest joke! I tried everything & not only was it time consuming & messy, I never felt like I got it well strained. I was ready to give up on cold brew until I came across these (hear the angels singing in the background? Uh yeah, me neither...) Anyway, as soon as I got them I was impressed with the quality - these aren't anything like a coffee filter or even a couple layered, this is quality! I will admit, I had a little trouble trying to figure out how to fill it without making a mess or having it fall over - here's where I got "crafty"... I'm including a pic, but basically I grabbed an empty Powerade bottle, cut off the bottom so it was open and used it as a support for the bag. Put a funnel in the top & it is super fast, easy and just simple! I also used someone else's review idea and when I grind up my beans, I do enough for 3-4 bags or so & put the extras in a freezer bag in the freezer. I also wrap the strings tightly around the top in opposite directions and tie them together just to make sure there's no opening for grounds to come out because I submerge the entire bag (if you try to keep the strings hanging out, they'll probably drip). I've never had any grounds end up in my cold brew. My biggest praise is how durable these are! Yes, I know I already said that, but the reason it's so important to me is that when I take out the bag, I squeeze every last bit of coffee goodness I can get out of it and not once has the bag broken open or has a seam torn!

Makes life so much easier
I am so glad that I ordered these coffee filters. I use the toddy system for cold brew coffee, which means I steep grounds overnight and then drain the liquid into a glass storage container. These bags work perfectly for this method. Everything about this makes my life so much easier - the coffee strains within a few minutes (instead of an hour); I no longer have to bother with a traditional filter; and there's barely any clean-up to do. I love it!

Good but leaks grounds
This bag holds a lot and works well. Knocked off one star because the cinch closure isnโt tight. It lets out a lot of grounds when submerged.

Simplest way to make great cold brew at home!
These bags are the absolute best. Itโs so easy to fill them with coffee grounds and make cold brew in a snap. Just fill up the bag with grounds, pull the drawstring closed and tie it and put into a pitcher and fill with water. Set in fridge for 24-48 hours and you have delicious cold brew concentrate!

as cold brew filter, work great!
they could be a bit bigger. does not fit 1 cup of ground beans. that being said, so I just use 2 filters for 1 batch of cold brew. these filter still require the cold brew to be filtered a second time but it goes quickly, maybe 10 mins to go through the 2nd filtering.over all better quality than the last brand. you can really squeeze these hard to get the last drop and have not had a tear yet. fast delivery, good quality, will buy again.

Good, easy way to make cold brew
Even though I hate using disposable things, these are a must-have when making cold brew. The metal strainer I had let in too much sediment. These bags are easy to fill and then dispose of cleanly.

Easy to use, excellent cold brew results, no microplastics
These were super easy to use, they left no detectable coffee grinds or residue in my cold brew, and same for when I used loose tea leaves to make cold brew tea. Clean-up was a breeze, like removing a big used tea bag and just throwing it away. The results were low-acid coffee and tea that tasted great. I use it with an "Oxo" brand 1.78 liter screw-on lid Tritan plastic jar from Amazon. Years ago I used Toddy Cold Brew system for a few years, but that was a time-consuming, messy routine, and I just gave it up. When I saw these filter bags on Amazon, I looked on YouTube for videos that showed how to fill the bags and leave room for water to circulate among the coffee grinds or loose tea leaves, maybe using two half-filled small bags in one jar to make a concentrated brew to dilute with filtered water later to minimize storage space required in the fridge for the finished cold brew coffee or tea. I chose this brand because the description indicates they are made from all-natural fibers, and I assume they are therefore free of forever microplastics and harmful chemicals .

Easy and clean way to make cold brew coffee
These are easy to tie and dispose of. To get a cup of grounds in requires compressing them with a spoon (non-compressed I think it holds about 3/4 cup of grounds), and I did hear one filter bag start to rip open when I packed it too hard, but it didn't actually split and having learned that lesson, I have no issues using them. I'd definitely recommend these.

Great value until the price doubled
Perfect for the tub teas I'm making as gifts. Nothing leaks out even when I hold upside down It's just unfortunate that 2 weeks after buying them the 1st time the price has now almost doubled :(
