Very nice! It is very well made and the details in the planer rings and moons is amazing. Nice that they add in a polishing cloth and adapter. Perfect!

For the reviews saying there's random black dots around the planets (like it's a defect), my son told me those represent the planet's moons....which I think is a neat detail. The globe is smaller than I anticipated but is made of heavy glass and looks high quality. The base lights the globe in a really cool way, and I like that it can use 3 AAA batteries instead of having a cord hang off the shelf (cord does come included if you wish to use that option). My science obsessed kid really loves this little globe, and has it next to his James Webb Telescope pictures. Would recommend!

I got this 3D solar system model crystal ball for my son, and now his room looks like a tiny galaxy exploded in the best way. He’s been staring at it for hours, naming planets like a mini astronaut on a mission. Warning: May cause spontaneous space facts, sudden questions about black holes, and the urge to build a real spaceship (I’m still working on that one). Also, the crystal ball makes for a great nightlight, bonus points for glow-in-the-dark planets! If you want to give your kid a piece of the cosmos without leaving Earth, this model is a total win.

This shiny crystal ball came in an elegant-looking white box, which is also tightly tied up in bubble wrap. And the item itself is very small with a few colorful balls inside it. I don't think all 8 planets are featured and Jupiter is BROWN, too. But at least the "Saturn" has rings. I haven't turned on the thing yet, though.

Bought this for my son who is into space & the universe. He absolutely loved it. Really good quality.

Scan: 1) Does not look like the photos: the planets don't have any color. So sad, was really looking forward to it. 2) look at aliexpress for "sun crystal ball" and you get exactly this ball for $4.

It’s cute. Smaller than I had hoped/expected but that’s on me since it does state 3.5 inches. But seems like a SMALL 3.5 inches. I’ll keep it because my grandkids are giving it to their dad for Christmas and they think it’s really ‘cool’. The quality seems good and I see none of the other issues other reviews have mentioned. Just be prepared for the small size.
