They are a fairly heavy sheet, I don’t think they will tear or wear too thin over time. The only fall back is, they do wrinkle from washing and drying. I love a smooth fold over edge on my sheets, since they show when I fold them back on my made bed. I found this helps a bit for smoothing sheet hems and even cotton or linen duvets: If you have a ceiling fan, get a spray bottle of water, lightly dampen the sheet and duvet with water. Smooth them out and let the fan dry them. This takes almost all the wrinkles out.
