I bought this for my frog tank light. Since my frog needs a day and night cycle, and to make sure my light won't accidentally overheat this timer is perfect. I'm able to set it so during the day the light will be on for about 12 hours, with 30 minute breaks every 2 hours so my frog can have a consistent schedule that I would personally struggle to ensure. Additionally, if I want to the light to be on specifically if my frog is bathing and needs warmer water I can manually still turn on the light with the switch on the timer. Me and my frog are very happy with this and i'm glad it's easy to setup and use since I have to move his tank every so often.

I purchased this for our bearded dragons enclosure so we wouldn't have to manually turn on/off his lights and this has been a life saver The way it plugs in to the wall and his it's outlets on the side is perfect It works perfectly fine both to turn everything on and off. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because the setting up process is very confusing and tbh if someone asked me to help them set up their time I'm not sure that I'd be able too. It took alot of trial and error to get it setup with the exact time we needed it to be at. Is this a reason to not purchase? Absolutely not the bright side is once you set it you never have to mess with it again lol. Still perfect did its job and was definitely money well spent

Simple and easy to program.

I have multiple of these for my plant grow lights and my reptile and fish enclosures and they are great. They are inexpensive and easy to use. The only issue is that if you don't make sure the buttons are pushed all the way in or all the way out, you could have lights turning on or off when you don't want them to, but once you get it set right it's a no worry product. I will continue to buy these.
