MillSO Headphone Mic Splitter 3.5mm Headset Adapter (Microphone + Audio)

After much searching, I was able to find right cable. Everyone else wanted to sell a splitter to use 2 headphones. I have a nice wired set with 2 jacks, mic and sound. New computers, laptops, and other devices use a single jack if they even accept wired hearphones. I am very pleased with the cable adapter. I may buy a second one just in case.

Ordered last year, plugged it in and realized it matched my headset cables perfectly. High quality woven cable, tough plastic/silicone connections, headphones sound exactly the same volume/quality. I have had these attached to the back of my controller and I still play comfortably for hours, if you need 2 of them then this deal is the best value to quality, the only plastic is so strong, it’s been bent at about a 180 degree angle the whole time and no static or distortion at all.

The only product I bought that does what I wanted it to do—split it so that I can hear the online classes while also recording it through the stereo. How did I do it? I got a 3.5mm jack male to two female splitters, then insert the male end of this splitter to one of the female end, then the green splitter is hooked to the stereo's male end while I use the other female splitter from the 3.5mm jack to my headphone. Great for listening with headphone while also having a transcription of my class with summary notes.

Works great if you're plugging into a newer laptop or if you have an extension cable, but unless your phone case has an absolutely huge cut-out for the audio jack, this thing won't fit all the way in.

Bought it for an experiment I was doing with radio headsets and my laptop. My experiment didn't work but can verify this splitter did it's job. Sound quality was good and I like how the mic and audio jacks are color coded red and green. Seems like it's built solidly, I always like the sheathed cable because it offers a lot more protection than the slippery plastic kind. Both female ports and the male port are all 3.5mm. I'm only returning it as I no longer need it.

I am glad to say that this cable works as it should, and it is of very good quality! I primarily bought it to use with my PS4, as I run a ModMic and a set of Berydynamic headphones, and this adapter does the job very well. The connector and plugs look to be gold plated, and the cable is braided, which is a nice touch. The cable is about 8 inches in length. The female ports appear to be sturdily attached. The bottom 4 pole connector is also attached well, but where the cable meets the 4 pole connector feels slightly cheap. However, this product works 100% as intended, and for a great price at only ~$8.50! If you have a stand alone mic / headset combo you want to use for an all in one port on a laptop, xbox or PS4 than look no further. You have found the cable you need.

MILLSO US shipped the headphone microphone splitter adapter. The adapter wires seem flimsy as if they do not have metal wires and durable wire coverings. The conductor feels like mylar strips. The adapter works as expected but the wiring may break quickly.

I bought this splitter to use it on a mini desktop computer that have only one 3,5" in/out audio socket, but I tried to use it with a working headset and the audio doesn't make any sound at all. I tried to use it with my ps4 and a different pair of headphones, and realize that the audio socket doesn't "click" when the plug is inserted. The mic appears to work and does "click", but it's not useful if I cannot use both (mic and heaphones/headset - audio in and out). For me, this product was a waste of time and money. Would not recomend it at all. ********** UPDATE 09/21/2020 ********** A few hours after I submitted my previous review, the seller contacted me via email. They politely asked me what was wrong with the product, guided me through a series of tests to check if the product was not functioning or if it was misuse or misunderstanding on how to use it. After the tests customer support verified that the product was defective and sent me a new adapter immediately, with no extra costs. The new adapter works like a charm. The last one of these I got had swapped left/right audio channels. This one lets me split out the stupid combined port to something useful without being defective. Yaaaaay.
