🖤 Keep your pipe stems forever flawless with Obsidian Oil!
Obsidian Oil is a specialized conditioning treatment designed to protect vulcanite, ebonite, and cumberland pipe stems from oxidation and UV damage. By sealing the stem’s pores and providing organic UVA/UVB protection, it preserves the stem’s deep black finish and reduces the need for frequent polishing. A few drops every few months maintain a fresh, like-new appearance, making it an indispensable product for pipe collectors and aficionados.

Works better than I ever thought it could
I have read about Obsidian Oil for years but never got around to trying it until recently and I cannot believe that I missed out on this stuff for so long! It literally takes on a drop or two to treat a stem (or two), which I thought had to be wrong but isn’t. For dull and/or lightly oxidized stems, a quick massage of the oil and wipe after letting it penetrate for a minute or so it all it takes. The light oxidation is gone and then stem is beautiful, black, and shiny! I’ve not tried it in a very oxidized stem yet or on anything other than Vulcanite so I can’t speak to how it would work on them yet. I highly recommend trying Obsidian Oil.

Brings a shine
Not bad, brings up a shine to pipe seems. Somehow, though on the expensive side IMO. I like it though and will use it in the future as well.

Totally worked; very impressed.
I've seen a few reviews stating that this left a bad taste on the pipe stems. No worries here -- so long as you apply it onto a cotton ball (or a paper towel) and just rub the excess oil off? This works extremely well and restored pipes I have owned for a good 5-10 years. The real test was an old Second World War-era Purex self-cleaning pipe. Brought that stem back from a seen-better-days look to something that would look like my go-to pipe. May take a good 2-3 applications to really let it soak in, but after just one? Very happy with my purchase; will use this again if/when I run out.

Excellent Vendor and Excellent Product! Highly Recommended!!!
This is an excellent product for vulcanite pipe steams. Just use it as directed on the bottle. I purchased this from 4 Noggins on Amazon. This is a fantastic retailer that goes above and beyond customer satisfaction. Highly recommend purchasing any products from this vendor! They are top notch!

Hard to say if it’s any better than mineral oil
I’m not sure this did anything at all.
