Love this toaster!!!
I love this toaster! Firstly, I am a huge Star Wars fan, so I was super excited when I came across this toaster. It only has two slots, but that’s perfect for me and my needs. This toaster looks great! The surface is a sturdy and thick plastic. It is easy to clean and has a small pull out tray for crumbs. It has a nice range of temperatures for toasting and even includes a button specific for bagel toasting. It is super easy and fun to use. When you push the lever, it makes a great R2D2 beeping sound and lights up. When it’s coming to the end of the toasting cycle, it gives off another series of beeping. This is my favorite toaster and when it stops working I plan on getting another one. So far, it has been working great for these last three years. This is a great buy!

This little R2 unit
I am a Star Wars fan from the beginning! Love my r2d2 toaster ! Even my non SW family members smile when they hear it. Toasts well and I have had it for a while and no issues. If you love SW or not, it is a great buy!

Not Just Novelty
My daughter has Celiac Disease and so we had to get a toaster specifically for her. She told me to choose one for her, and being the nerd that I am, I chose this R2-D2 one. What I didn't expect was for quality of the toaster to be so excellent. There is an easy to use knob on the side for light to dark toast, the toaster actually plays the R2-D2 sounds when the lever is pulled down and also just before the toast pops up...like a little warning to head over there. It certainly is the envy of family and friends that come over who all demand to know where they can get one. Best kitchen purchase in the last few years.
