I had not thought about a woman wearing it though the light feature might truly be an asset for her but if to the looks of it on her wrist your going to have to take the line off the compus side and cut it to fit her wrist or remove all sides take the watch to where you can purchase a velcro band won she likes maybe here on Amazon and install it back on the watch ..

Is there a smaller watch band I can get with this watch

You need to be willing to take it apart that means unwinding the paratrooper line..what I did the side of the compas the cut it smaller because it is velcro you can then make it comfortable for YOU..no didn't put the line back because I felt could get by what's on the other side if it was needed..hope this helps you as an owner of it.
