Nexlux LED Lights for TV/Monitor Backlight 8.2ft USB APP Controlled with Remote, DIY Colors for Gaming Lights, Ambient Lighting Kit

The media could not be loaded.  These were pretty easy to install. I have my tv mounted above my fireplace so it was easier to take off tv. I have a 55”. The application is pretty straightforward. If you have a larger tv I know that you put the lights a little closer to the center of tv. Other than that pretty easy. I used gorilla black tape to just reinforce the ends that don’t have the adhesive. One thing I do have a complaint about was peeling back the paper from adhesive, it was not cut right so you could not feel where to pull off the paper backing, so what I did was use some gorilla tape and taped the paper part to pull off and separate from the sticky side, if you’re not careful you will pull the whole thing off. Just be careful. The remote is a little confusing to work but you get it after a while. Overall rear lighting and makes it easy on the eyes.

I put this behind my television and it looks extremely amazing. Best part of all is that a changes colors with your phone or the application super durable. I’ve had this for almost a whole year super easy to install and the money.

Nexlus has excellent customer service! I had absolutely no problem mounting the lights because it was so easy. The remote is a fabulous bonus because of all the available options to light up the area in just about any color combination, including slow and fast fade. I was getting daily information from Nexlus which proves their superior customer service. I am extremely happy with the results. I have a 65" TV and the lights for that size TV are quite ample! Thank you, Chris at Nexlus, for staying on top of my purchase! I am very impressed with your company.Nexlus sent me another kit to change out a couple strips that flickered off and on. I was so impressed with the customer service and the replacement of one of the strips did the trick and my backlighting is awesome! I am now very happy with the ambience!Post note: The sticky side of the LED strips don't seem to want to stay put so I bought some Mozilla Mounting Tape and took small strips and put them behind the LED lights every 3-4 inches and now they stay put.Love the product and the amazing customer service!

I posted a bad review for a defective remote and was contacted by the seller. My item was replaced and re-installed.At first I had the exact same problem as the first one with the lights frozen on one color and the remote not working. After a couple of days the remote started working again and now the lights work great.The problem with the remote freezing I believe is caused by pressing the buttons too fast. If you pause between button presses I think the remote will work fine. But it needs to be addressed by the seller.As for the lights themselves, they are great. Bright and colorful. Quality wise, it came broke. Only two of the four light strips worked because the soldering on the wire connection between led stip 2 & 3 came off. So I had to McGyver the connection using connectors from another kit (see picture). It took me 45 mins to get the connections just right so it would work. That's just too much effort for my tastes.Now to the light itself. Compared to the two other LED TV backlight kits I have, it's not as bright. I'm not sure it has anything to do with my DIY fix. It does fit my 65" Samsung TV. So that's a good thing. One thing I like is the slow-paced color changing mode. On my two other TVs, I have the light set to just one color. As for mounting, I added some Loctite mounting putty since I've read from other reviewers that theirs started to peel off after a while.EDIT 1/19/18: Nexlux customer service (Chris) contacted me and sent me a replacement LED strip. Now that's customer service! Thanks Chris!

EDITED REVIEW (From 1 star to 5 stars!!!!!)Okay, so yesterday I was about to return this because the remote stopped functioning after about the first 10 seconds of use. Thankfully I didn't go and process the return the same day, because this morning I woke up to a personalized email from the seller (hi Chris!) who explained kindly why my remote may have stopped working. Basically, I just needed to use the right type of USB port. I bought these LEDs for the back of my PC monitor, so initially I used the USB ports that were built into my PC case. Evidently those USB ports were NOT the right ones to use. Once I switched to the ones built into my motherboard, the remote worked without a problem. It also worked perfectly with a regular phone charger USB port that connects to the wall plug. In sum: If your remote works for like the first 10 seconds and stops working, use another USB port!!! Don't be like me and jump to conclusions that the product is faulty after trying one USB port.P.S. If you are planning to stick these to the back of your PC monitor, make sure to order 10mm 4-pin connectors. You'll need to cut up these strips and peel back the rubbery top layer and the sticky bottom layer before sticking them into the connectors.

Looks good but we had to strategically place it to avoid obvious gaps. I hate a 50inch TV and this strand is too short. I would recommend "sizing up" if your TV is on the cusp.

Good quality LED strip light. Better quality then other ones I purchased before
