Easy to use and great for applying stain
I used these for applying stain on an upcycling project and they worked really well for that. They’re easy to use and make it simple to apply an even layer without leaving heavy brush marks. They’re especially handy for smaller areas and getting into corners where a larger brush might be awkward. Tip: I found they work best when you don’t overload them with product — a light amount gives a smoother, more even finish. If you’re doing furniture projects, staining, or general DIY, these are a really useful option. For larger areas, you might want something bigger alongside them. Overall, simple but effective and did exactly what I needed.

Good for quick staining and craft jobs, but not for a perfect finish
These are foam brushes for applying things like stain, dye, varnish, oil, and paint, and I used them mainly on small wood projects where I did not want to ruin a decent brush. They are very handy for jobs like touching up wooden trim, staining small offcuts, and applying oil to awkward little edges. The foam holds a decent amount without dripping everywhere, and I found it easy to get an even coat on flat pieces of wood. They are also useful for craft bits because you can use one, bin it, and avoid the whole miserable brush cleaning routine afterwards. The only reason I would not call them perfect is that they are not ideal if you want a really fine finish. On varnish especially, I had to be careful not to press too hard or it could leave slight lines and bubbles. They also are not the strongest if you catch the foam on a rough edge, so a quick sand first makes life easier. For the price and convenience, I would happily buy them again. They are great for quick DIY, staining, oiling, and messy craft jobs, just not quite the tool I would choose for a flawless final coat.

Suited to the Task
Very sensible addition to the stain and varnish from the same company

Ok but not great, 2-3 uses max
I would describe these as disposable brushes, they're only good for 2-3 uses before they start to disintegrate and leave bits of foam in your stain/varnish/paint. They have no internal support so are a little floppy. Easy to clean but the lack of foam density means they're easy to damage while cleaning.

Totally useless
I rarely write reviews but these foam brushes are so appalling that I felt the need to do it this time. Attempted to use these to apply Danish oil to wooden furniture and for about the first 30 seconds all was great! I managed to get through three of these brushes to complete one chair as the foam tears along the line of the plastic interior, then disintegrates. They are beyond useless, completely unfit for purpose and a total waste of money. Having destroyed three of them, I reverted to a standard paintbrush to tackle the next chair - job completed without further issues.

Great for any painting project
Good product, used for applying polyurethane on cabinets. Durabilty was ok. Had to change out a couple times. Really no drips and not messy. I only needed on size . Wish they came in the size you need but will keep the extras for future projects.

Works for a few minutes and then the handle breaks off.
Had good hopes but the attachment of the handles is very weak making them brake of the brush part after only short use with a water based varnish. Had this happen with ALL brushes out of two orders except the very smallest ones.

Just buy from the dollarstore
Did the trick but not worth the purchase. You can buy cheaper and the same at the dollarstore and these even broke off mid stroke paining a small cabinet.

A great buy considering the price
Great product in terms of quality, despite its low price. It’s a great buy: the handles don’t come off, as long as you don’t bend them too much. It applies varnish very well and soaks everything in. Definitely recommended.
