This took a couple of weeks to come in, but it was worth the wait.
My wife makes all different types of soap and Lye aka sodium hydroxide is a basic, necessary ingredient. We used to get our lye from a couple of different big box stores, but this merchant offers the product at a very reasonable price and it's 100% pure lye crystals. Buying lye in larger quantities makes it much more affordable over time and we're very happy with this product.

Excellent product for soap making
This is an excellent product compared to other sodium hydroxide products I have used. It dispenses easily from the container, avoiding unwanted spillage and does a great job saponifying my oils for soap.

Highly recommend brand. Absolutely no product shortage found in any of the bottles.
I switched lye brands after I realized another vendor was habitually under filling their bottles. So of course the first thing I did was weigh this lye. These bottles were also off a bit - but they were all slightly off in my favor. What a pleasant surprise. I will be using Essential Depot as my preferred vendor for all my future lye needs. I’ve only made one batch of cold process soap with this brand as of this review, but I had no complaints with the dissolving or the performance of these beads.

Be careful when using
It will generate high temperature when it comes into contact with water. I use it to clean the sewer.

Truly a “food” grade quality
This was exactly what I was looking for. Clean and free of the black specks that come in traditional drain cleaners. This came wrapped for safety which was nice. I use this for making soap and it is very effective.
