Worked perfectly for my 2019 Passport key fob. The front fit perfectly into the back of my actual Honda fob, so I kept the Honda logo and replaced the front where I’d lost some push panels. Well worth the price.

This part is ideal when your fob’s casing (or shell) is damaged, or if parts of it are missing. If you still have the undamaged components inside, this is all you need. When trying to replace my remote fob’s battery, the entire fob assembly came apart, and the components flew around everywhere. The buttons on the fob are separate, and I could not find one of them. I thought I would have to get an entirely new fob and have someone reprogram it for a hefty sum. I looked around and found this product, which was all I needed. You can switch out any undamaged parts inside your existing fob (such as the cut key and programmed electronics) with any corresponding ones that come with the shell. I then reassembled the fob, and it functioned just fine. Also, if the panel on the back with the Honda logo is undamaged, you can use it instead of the blank panel that comes with this shell.

Great product, just transferred the inner electronics

The accord key fob replacement cover did not fit my electronics board: my board was too large to fit the shorter and narrower space provided in the plastic electronics mount. I am not willing to machine my electronics board because it will cut connections at the periphery to make it non-operational. While it is obviously possible for the product to fit some versions of the accord key fob electronics, it was too small to fit my board and therefore not usable.

Took apart my fob to replace battery and the remote start button disappeared under the seat never to be found. Dealer wanted to charge me $200 for a new one. This was a perfect solution. Didn't need the actual transmitter, just the shell. The negative reviews from people who thought they were getting the full electronics for $11 should be removed. This was a lifesaver and worked perfectly. Just make sure you put the "guts" and physical key of your own into this shell.

I was not happy when I replaced the battery in my original key fob and the buttons fell out. I found all but one of them. Then my car battery died, and I called AAA. The AAA tech saw my key fob and told me not to go to the dealer for a replacement because they would charge a lot of money. He said I could find a replacement shell on Amazon. I took his advice, and it was perfect! This is a shell, so you have to remove the fake key that comes with it and replace it with your key. You also have to take the "brain" out of your original key fob and put it in the shell because the brain is programmed to your car. I have a brand new key fob that looks and works perfectly, and I paid less than $12! The dealer would have charged a lot more than that!

Contrary to some of the negative reviews, this was literally "a snap". After removing the inner core of this new fob key and replacing it with the core of my old broken fob, the cover snapped in and voila... I have a brand new fob key, in less than 2 minutes ! Thanks for this easy solution.

My remote was not working and pretty beat up after four years of use. I tried replacing the battery, it didn't work. When I got this new keyfob, works perfect! Keep in mind it is just the external case with the buttons. You'll need to swap out your old internal electronics. Can be a little tricky with the little buttons, but be careful and it will be fine. Looks and works like new. Don't forget to also swap out the emergency key that pops out of the handle. OEM Quality. A new fob is expensive from dealer or locksmith. It was worth a try to go this route and it worked perfectly!
