UPDATE: May 2024 - the lights we had around the pool I took down for winter when we put the pool away. I moved them to a trellis where they continued to illuminate through the winter and are still lighting now in the spring. The second set was on a small tree and that one stopped working over the winter. Not sure why. Overall I’m still happy for the price. Orig. review (2023): These are not as bright as lights you’d plug in but they’re great if you just want a little accent lighting as decoration. They’re not made for complete illumination of an area. We put them around our pool. The lights in the distance on the fence are hard wired low voltage and are definitely brighter. First 3 pics were taken with iPhone night mode. 4th pic I took using live view and I think it shows a better depiction of the dimmer glow of the solar lights. The night mode actually makes them look brighter. For the price and the fact I could place them myself without needing extension cords or an electrician is definitely a plus!

These color string lights work amazingly well! They are nice and long and covered my outside pine trees. They are bright enough considering they are blue. I’d definitely order again in the white.

I’m pretty impressed with these. When k set them up, the solar panel got direct sun from about 12pm - 4:30pm. Due to the lower angle of the sun I was worried they wouldn’t get enough exposure. However, as soon as the sun set, the lights came on and they were twinkling all night. I checked at 4am when my cat demanded breakfast and they were still at least 80% power. I like that they are lightweight and easy to hang on my roof line with some small adhesive hooks. The longer are pretty small LED lights as opposed to the old school standard bulbs, but with the two strands it gives enough coverage to be clearly seen from down the street. Since the bulbs are small, they don’t get tangled as easily as the larger style lights. The solar charging is great so I can just set them outside anywhere and they’ll automatically come on at night. Very easy to use and long strands are great for outdoor decorating.

I got these to use as Christmas/holiday lights for the parking lot of our business. Easy to use - only tricky part is figuring out the best place to put the solar panels. You need them to get as much sun (or at least light) for as long as possible. All day, if you can find the right place to put the panels! Where i originally put them it was only getting sun for a few hours. I finally figured out that I could attach the panels to the top branches of a small tree. Once i did that, that strings lit up nicely. With a full day containing a good amount of sun, these lights stay on almost until dawn. How long they stay on will vary depending on how much sun & light they receive. Recently we've had a lot of overcast days with lots of rain and no sun. Some of my other solar lights did not turn on at all, or only worked for a couple hours. But these 2 sets of solar string lights turned on for 4 hours or more before dimming. That's pretty good for several consecutive totally sunless days. I will say they are not as bright as I would prefer. But you cant expect these lower cost solar lights to be as bright as electric lights. Maybe the higher end ones are better, I dont know. Still, these are bright enough you can see them easily from across the street maybe 50 feet away! The cool white color is very pretty and works well for the winter holidays. They give off a bit of a blue-ish white color. I like the fact that these have multiple different modes to choose from. That's a lot better than just steady or flashing. If you live in a region that gets very little sunlight throughout the winter, dont expect too much from these solar lights. Maybe 4 or 5 hours per night. You might be better off with electric or battery lights. Or maybe there are some more expensive solar lights that will work even with very little sun. But for us, these lights work nicely and i'll no doubt use them throughout the year just to give our property a bit of an elegant touch!

The lights are fantastic! Bright, colorful, and easy to set up. They add a festive touch to my outdoor decorations. Very happy with this purchase!

I loved the brightness of the lights when I first got them. I have had them up for about 3 days so far, and they have yet to turn back on. I've pressed the power button. I'm wondering if cloudy weather is affecting the charge? The chord is pretty long, I ordered two packages and I really only needed one. They are relatively easy to use, just charge and they light up, but mine aren't charging. Hmph.

Purchased these October 2025 and as of January 26, 2026, they are still working beautifully. As they are solar, you need good sunlight or they will not last long. Great value, and they seem to be durable for rainy weather!

These lights are pretty, but only for 20 to 30 minutes, then they grow dim, then go out completely. Obviously, I’ve used them, so dont feel I can return them, but they are a huge disappointment and not worth the money they cost. My daughter bought a set and had the same experience.

So far good, needs bright sunlight to charge full.

These lights are actually great quality. I purchased them at Christmas time it’s now March. They survived a brutal Canadian winter this year. Snow, rain, sleet, they turn on every night. Super impressed. They vary in time they stay on from but for the price it’s a great option!

Used for days only to trdt them, without even unwrapping then, and already failed. Shame because they were really nice. Not functioning at all.

One of the two didn’t even light up!
