I really like these OSMO Polyx-Oil finishes for their ease of application along with their final appearance and performance. Personally I find the protection from scratches and moisture to be very low. However, we only own solid wood furniture and expect some yearly maintenance and this product couldn't make that process easier. Simply use a card scraper to remove any trouble spots and blend out the spot, then wipe a coat or two of this product over it, that simple. It does have a moderate odor, but it is manageable.Again, a card scraper is your best friend for basic repairs such as the one I use found here: https://amzn.to/4p0KeF8For application I use clean white (old) bed sheets. There is no color bleed and it applies without the waste from other applicators.Just wish the price weren't so expensive, but it is what it is.

Such a great finish, easy to apply, easy to repair. Put it on a bench made 8 years ago and with all the abuse it still looks like it is new. Decided to use it on the pine flooring of our baby room.
