The best laptop on the planet, in pristine condition, for over $600 off.
ABOUT THE REFURBISHER: I bought my unit from BuySPRY - the laptop came in its original packaging, with original accessories, in pristine condition. I inspected the laptop very closely upon delivery, and I could not find a single flaw or imperfection anywhere. I've had the computer for about 2 weeks now and I've had zero issues whatsoever. You're getting a $2400 laptop that is exactly the same as new for over $600 off. When was the last time you found a deal on a like-new high end Apple piece of hardware for over 25% off? ABOUT THE LAPTOP: My laptop before this one was a 2013 MacBook Pro 15", and that beast got me through college without a sweat. I had held off on upgrading for 7 years to a Touch Bar MacBook Pro due to the butterfly keyboard and thermal issues. Thankfully, with the new 16" model, they fixed all of that and more. KEYBOARD: The new keyboard returns to a scissor switch design, dubbed "Magic Keyboard" by Apple. This is, in my opinion, the best laptop keyboard on the market. You get about DOUBLE the travel as the butterfly keyboard, with super crisp keypresses, stable keys, smooth backlighting that doesn't bleed, and a satisfying but quiet noise. And since it is a traditional scissor switch, it will be infinitely more reliable than the old butterfly switches. It's like they combined the best of the old 2012-2015 MacBook keyboards and the 2016-2019 Touch Bar MacBook keyboards, with none of the downsides of either. PERFORMANCE & THERMALS: For how powerful and thin this laptop is, thermal performance is great. I've experienced zero thermal throttling while doing software work on it. They definitely fixed all the thermal issues of the last-gen MacBook Pro. Specs are a 6-core 2.6GHz i7, a potent 5300M for graphics, 512 GB SSD storage and 16 GB of 2666MHz DDR4 RAM. Enough said - this is one of the most powerful laptops on the planet, and should crush most professional workloads. OTHER IMPROVEMENTS: The speakers are INCREDIBLE. Straight up the best laptop speakers on the planet, bar none. They sound like a Bluetooth speaker, with fullness and bass I've never heard before from a laptop. The new 3-mic array isn't quite 'studio quality' as Apple claims, but they are the best mics I've ever heard on a laptop. The dedicated escape key is nice and makes software devs like me happy. The bezel shrink was needed, the 1 inch of extra real estate in almost the same package is great. Not quite the smallest bezels on the market, but good enough. And battery life has been amazing. Literally the best it can get, considering Apple fit in the MAXIMUM size battery (100Wh) allowable to fly on a plane. SUMMARY: I highly, HIGHLY recommend this laptop if you are in the market for a premium laptop. You are getting one of the most powerful laptops in the world, specs wise, in a beautiful thin chassis and a beautiful 3K, color-accurate display. All of the issues with the previous-gen MacBook Pro have been fixed. This is a laptop with the best build quality, the best keyboard, the best trackpad, the biggest battery, the best speakers, and the best microphones on the market - in pristine condition, for over $600 off. An amazing purchase.

Love this MacBook Pro! Great upgrades from prior MacBooks.
I loved the big 17" MacBooks when Apple still made them because I could perform a lot of upgrades, etc. - but especially for the spacious screen. When I came across this 2019 16" MacBook Pro I purchased it with some hesitations, it is used and refurbished. There is also the different conditions depending on scratches and other signs of wear. I've bought Apple products, including laptops, from Apple's used products which are also refurbished. All the used laptops I've purchased from Apple has been like brand new. I was apprehensive about buying one from Amazon. The laptop came in a run of the mill shipping box, including power brick and C cord. The laptop is in excellent condition. I had to look close to find any damage or signs of use, and what I found was very minor and hard to find. The screen has no dead pixels and looks great. I got the model with the Intel Core i7, 16mb ram, and 500gb hard drive. It works great for what I use a laptop: word processor, watch YouTube, web browsing, and other light uses. I also have a 2023 MacBook Pro with the apple M2 pro and really there is no comparison. The M2 smokes the Intel chip. I was aware of this when I purchased this laptop so I'm fine with the speed difference. The power brick was not Apple and not rated anywhere near what Apple had included with the original. I contacted the company that refurbished it and within days I received a replacement. The replacement was still not rated as high as the original, but it works and I didn't request another. The nice thing was I did not have to go through the hassle of boxing up and shipping the first power brick. The company was fast to respond to my complaint and had the replacement shipped quickly. In the pictures I included in this review, there are a few of the bottom side. At first I thought it was a plastic cover, but obviously it's not. It's some sort of what I'm guessing to be a protective shield. It's not something I would put on my laptop mainly because it might interfere with the cooling system. It does not seem to make the laptop run hot. Also, when I've watched reviews on YouTube the reviewer almost always whines about the cooling fans and how loud they are. I can hardly hear them when they kick in and for what I use it for, the fans don't run that often. Will I ever buy another Amazon refurbished? I wouldn't hesitate. I have no problem referring a friend or relative.

BUYER BEWARE! SAVE YOUR MONEY!
Unfortunately this is the very first review that I’m doing where I’m giving no stars and a very honest negative review. I was super excited to get this 2019 MacBook Pro. Reviews seemed good and I felt it was worth the investment in comparison to other sellers on Amazon. Shipping was relatively quick and the machine was in excellent shape. Practically new looking. The issue though is the battery. After charging this for several days the battery drain is horrible. Doesn’t hold a charge on its own power for very long. This is with very light usage such as checking emails and browsing the internet. I even changed the power settings to help reduce background usage. Still within 2 hours of consistent usage this battery went from 100 to 30%. I reached out to Amazon customer service to inquire about this issue and hoped that the seller would present an accommodating resolution. Amazon customer service was great and they did advise the seller to reach out to me in which they did reach out to me, but they proposed aI reached out to Amazon customer service to inquire about this issue and hoped that the seller would present a accommodating resolution. Amazon customer service was great and they did advise the seller to reach out to me in which they did reach out to me, but they proposed a $50 credit so that I could go and purchase a battery. The problem with that is the battery can’t be easily physically replaced on your own and it’s advised that Apple should do it. The cost for Apple to do that is $250. I advised the seller of this and they never responded. Furthermore, Amazon had no resolutions other than to return the laptop which I’ll gladly be doing with great disappointment. I advise that you do your research on sellers before purchasing a used $600 machine. I wouldn’t give this seller a chance and furthermore they shouldn’t be selling on Amazon if they can’t satisfactorily accommodate.

Affordable option for new Mac users
Not bad for the price. I like the touch bar as i dont use the F keys often. This is the oldest macbook that will update to the Tahoe OS this fall and hopfully the one next year too. Ended up returning it because it kept restarting over and over randomly. Im new to mac and didn’t feel like I could diagnose it confidentiality to keep it past the 90 day trial which gave me the confidence to try a used computer in the first place. I also added the 2 year warranty which was also refundable. Hopefully the 3rd used mac is a keeper. I ordered a 2017 macbook air but it was just too outdated to make good use of.

Decent experience with minor imperfections
2019 MacBook Pro 16” Space Gray listed as excellent condition from the seller “Reuse Deals” I rarely write reviews but was a little nervous to order a refurbished MacBook, especially with the mix of good and bad reviews, so I’m including the details of my experience + some specs below. ORDERING & SHIPPING I looked through every seller and their reviews and then narrowed down my options… I decided to buy a 2019 MacBook Pro 16” Space Gray listed as excellent condition from the seller “Reuse Deals” for about $830 total. I wanted something a bit more affordable from a seller I felt was more trustworthy than others (based on prior reviews.) Ordered on a Thursday night and seller shipped the next morning via UPS ground. Amazon said it would arrive in 11 days, it ended up coming the following Thursday which was 4 days early. Wish there would have been more shipping options so that I could get it in 1-2 days, I was surprised it took as long as it did but that’s all in UPS’s control. UNBOXING Laptop was packaged well in bubble plastic in an unmarked box. Arrived with new macbook charger that appears authentic, but I already have a macbook charger so I haven’t opened it. CONDITION OF MACBOOK The condition is overall good. Some minor dings on the corners, and they clearly put a space gray sticker/wrap on the front of the laptop, probably to make it look new and hide damage underneath. The wrap slightly covers the apple logo and there’s a small indent where the company barcode was… not sure what that’s about. See video. I personally didn’t notice the sticker/wrap at first, and I don’t mind it as it’s not really noticeable, even tho the shade of grey is slightlyyyyy off. I’m very particular when it comes to the aesthetic of things and I don’t think the sticker/wrap is a big deal at all, just worth mentioning. The space bar is half way stuck but it still works fine. My husband tried to fix it and I’m sure the seller did too, but it seems to be stuck that way. Not a huge deal since these are the only physical imperfections and it is refurbished. The bottom of the laptop has no imperfections and the screen is in great condition. Took a little while to set up because it was having issues connecting to apple id verification… I ended up bypassing this and adding my apple id later in settings and that resolved the issue. I also needed to update the OS. The macbook performs well from what I can tell after a week and a half of use. It does get hot and the fan speeds up at times when I’ve been on it for a while or I’m editing videos. I try to use a laptop riser most of the time to prevent it from heating up, since the fan is at the bottom of the laptop. I think this is pretty standard with older macs (or even macs in general) so I don’t think it has anything to do with the laptop condition itself. Battery condition: Normal, Cycle count: 272 (not bad, not great) Based on all of the above, I’d say this mac is in good condition, not excellent. Still a decent price and glad I went with this seller because it could have been worse. WHY IT WAS A GOOD OPTION FOR ME PERSONALLY I’ve been using the laptop for over a week now and it works as expected. I had a 13” 2020 MacBook Pro prior to this and I’m now using this as my main computer to run my business. I do some graphic design, video editing, zoom calls, etc and it does the job pretty seamlessly. I wanted a 16” for a while and am used to the touch bar so glad I got this one instead of a $3K new version from apple. I prefer something I don’t have to worry about treating with a lot of care because I’m frequently traveling. I do wish there would have been an option for device protection but this thing is 4 years old… If it lasts over a year or even up to two I’ll be more than satisfied. Overall I’m glad I went with the excellent condition option to play it safe. Always look at the seller reviews not just the listing reviews, and go with the seller that seems like the right fit for you. I would order from Reuse Deals again if I needed to… Not sure how the laptop will perform over time so we will see. Hope this was helpful.

Go for the late 2019 Intel - not earlier.
Macs Depot was true to their word. As this was my third refurb, the first two with other third-party sellers, that isn’t nothing. This was an “Apple Late 2019 MacBook Pro with 2.6GHz Intel Core i7, 16-inch, 32GB RAM, 1TB Storage, Space Gray” - which came with the entry-level 5300 graphics package. The first had defective ports on the left - a 2017 MacBook Pro; and the second was sent with the wrong hard drive, a 2018 MacBook Pro, both with similar specs to this one. This 2019 unit is in very good working order, with minor ware in the area around the touch pad. The screen isn’t “cherry”. It wasn’t absolutely spotless - but no scratches at all. It’s a beautiful screen. No dents, no major scratches on the casing. A beautiful digital “axe” to chop with. The internals seem to be excellent, with the rig running much cooler than I might have expected after watching a hundred YouTube videos on the 2019 thermal upgrades (new heat sinks and heat-resistant adhesive, and reworked cooling channels). That is why I went for the i7 rather than the i9. The i9 is great, but even with the new thermals, it seems to run too hot. The i7 was better matched to the new thermal arrangement. I have not benchmarked this entirely yet, but I’ve had three Intel MacBooks in two months, and this one is the best one. Although if either of the other two had worked, I’d have probably been happy with those. Go for the 2019 unit. They don’t cost that much more, and the changes Apple made to these in that year were significant. Plus they’ll recieve updates from Apple that much longer. Whatever person did this refurb evidently knew what they were doing. So I want to thank this anonymous Macs Depot technician for the loving care they put into restoring this little data beast, and Macs Depot for employing them. All that being said, this is only the first week - so we’ll see!

Extremely impressed.
I'm extremely impressed. My previous MacBook Pro was also refurbished, lasting five years before I couldn't use it anymore, so I decided to go refurbished again. I've had this MacBook for a few days and its fantastic. My usage consists of surfing the internet and storing my digital photos (photography is a hobby) and it does what needs to be done. This MacBook arrived with zero dents or dings. Its like new, its beautiful. The keyboard works perfectly and the trackpad is great too. Time will ultimately tell, but right now I'm extremely happy with this purchase. If you need a basic, reliable MacBook Pro that fits a frugal budget, refurbished is definitely the way to go. High quality, low cost.

Small issues, still worth it.
Very good functionality so far, battery might drain a bit fast like iPhones, but I don’t see anything unusual with the battery. I am pretty sure that’s mostly because Apple batteries suck a lot compared to other brands, but I can’t really complain due to this fact. Apple charger wasn’t the official apple charger and it overheats a lot, but it charges really fast. Might have been a few pieces chipped from the shell and slightly dented, but that’s the cost of buying a refurbished one. Setting this up was a piece of cake, game performance is also the best, I don’t really know how to use a MacBook, but I can tell compared to other computers this is really great overall. It is also the best computer to do all your work. Works great with mouses whether Apple or non-Apple mouses, it’s pretty strong when it fell once off the height of my bed; everything was in tact and everything remains the same. Didn’t even get a piece chipped off when it fell, neither did the screen break, or get a dent anywhere on the laptop. Definitely better than the HP laptops I purchased before so far, and this was pretty much worth it. It may have a few issues, but I think that’s universally Apple’s fault. Can’t really expect any better from this. In conclusion, this was definitely worth the purchase. Hopefully, nothing unexpected happens. If so, I’ll be making a second review.

True to their words.
The computer itself looks almost brand new, there are no complaints whatsoever, no nicks or cracks visible anywhere. Aside from the battery health being at 80%, that is what I agreed upon purchasing amazon renewed, therefore it is satisfactory. The third party charger provided did not match the wattage of the computer, however customer service was very prompt and reasonable, and they gave me the option have a refund for specifically the value of the provided charger within the package (they even offered to mail in another charger if you wanted, but what I really loved was that you had the choice) I think N.A. Innovators really tries their best to retail good refurbished computers alongside they provide courteous customer service. This was very worthwhile for me, I am very happy with my purchase and I'll take good care of my computer.

MacBook Pro 2019

My unit is working perfectly. May have an aftermarket power adapter though.
It’s exactly the computer I ordered. It works like new. Very little cosmetic blemishes (it’s used) but nothing to gripe about. Battery health is normal. I tested everything. I updated to MacOS 26 Tahoe and did notice a little choppiness and lag. After I did a google search I found out the MacBook needed some time to “index”. So it seems to have cleared up and is working well now. One small thing. The photo shows an original Apple power adapter, but I received an aftermarket one. So what, it works.
