The color of them is fantastic despite this, and they work very well. They are much more comfortable than the stylus that comes with the game. They are very responsive, and they work on multiple devices. My New 3DS XL, my old 3DS, and my old DS Lite are all compatible. I enjoy the way they fit in my hand as well, they are not super bulky like some other replacement, or substitute stylus are.
