The Ridgid batteries were a little pricey at the time and so I bought these. These batteries fit my old 18V tools perfectly and I had no problems charging them and they are holding up. But it has been only a month so I may change my review in the future. I purchased new tools recently and the batteries are not a good fit for these brushless tools which include Drill, driver, reciprocating saw, circular saw, multitool, and router. To be fair, the old Ridgid batteries do not make for a good fit either so it isn't a sizing error on the company but Ridgid just changing things slightly, probably to keep everyone from switching to 3rd party vendor batteries. These are warranted for a year and I will have to see how they last and what honor comes from the vendor if it doesn't. Ridgid has a sale on their batteries and I bought 2 for about a hundred and they have a three year warranty and a store close by in case they fail.
