My husband is prone to his gallbladder flaring up if he eats too much fat. Generally, he manages it pretty well by eating a lower fat diet and has not needed surgery. He had been taking a different gallbladder support supplement (Lionheart), but we can no longer find it unfortunately, so I bought this with the hope it would support his gallbladder as well as the previous supplement did. My husband feels this supplement helps support his gallbladder and he hasn't reported any side effects.

Good for not having a gal bladder

My son takes large doses of seizure medications which are filtered out by the liver. Since he may be on these for 80 years, we are very carefully monitoring his liver enzymes and the otherover the counter medications that may go through the liver, like ibuprofen. We found this after his ammonia levels increased and he had to take Lactulose for a month. Anyone who has had to do that can speak to how incredibly unpleasant that experience is - and how they never want to have to do it again. We started using Dr. Christopher's formula for him over a year ago, and his liver enzymes look great. I highly recommend this product.
