Tool does exactly what is intended of it. Easy to operate and a must have for anybody who does and any kind of mechanical or building work. Very efficient and makes jobs much simpler.

This is a great little machine Especially if you use a multi purpose blade on it. It puts the milwaukee 12 volts on its pocket Any day of the week. I have both of them. Just saying before you start b******* over there.

I have owned DEWALT tools for about 10 years. I have always found them to be reliable and long lasting. I needed this cutoff saw to cut an exhaust pipe that was hanging under a car in a junk yard. Too far away to string a power cord, and too small of a space for anything I owned to do the job. The saw cuts very quickly and isn't overly rough on the cutting blades. My Dremel tools (corded) go through cutting discs way too fast. So no problem hear with the DEWALT. The saw also did not draw much on the battery. I had the saw on for probably 15 minutes total. I do have one issue with the saw: The speed on the blade rotation is really fast. I don't know if it has to be that way, but I would prefer a variable speed or maybe a 2 or 3 speed. Some jobs require a more gentle touch and a slower RPM option would make it better. I did not have an extra hand to video my work, but perhaps on the next project I can make an addition to this review.

This little cutter is awesome 0 kickback. It shuts down before it will twist and snap the cutting disc. You just gotta let the tool do the work. One hand cuts are common and easy. Compared to a 4 inch grinder with no blade guard. It's balance is spot on even with a 6 ah battery. I doubt I'll ever use a 4 inch or 6 inch cut off wheel again. It blasted through a 1/4 steel plate with very little effort. Almost no vibration at the start and throughout the cut. Feels very safe. The DeWalt all metals disk it came with didn't do that great on 1/4 aluminum. It started plugging up the disk. Which is common w cutting aluminum. This thing would be perfect for using in the field. Cutting tops of posts.. whatever. Totally worth it. After using it once. I would pay double what I paid. It's that good.👍

Just purchased and like the size and feel for my small jobs. Very happy with all of my Dewalt products and expect this one to perform well. Have several small uses already planned.

Great product, use it for cutting 6mm ply for flooring needs. Small and light weight but really powerful. Allows me to quickly cut but not really interested for long straight cuts. So small I keep it in my tool bag and weights nothing. Dewalt make the best cut off tool

Good machine , tried it out yesterday on some metal . Good power cut through metal no problem
