This is a fun interactive book to use with baby.
My 6 month grandson and his mommy have so much fun while reading this book. He likes when she puts her eye by the hole in the pages to look at him as well as the animal being “spied” on. The pictures are also detailed as well as colorful.

I love this series by Edward Gibbs! The cut-outs that give you a peep from one page to the next, the guessing what the next animal is, and the bold colors make these books favorites with my grandson, AND with my storytime group at the library.

Original hardcover and board book are not the same.
My daughter loves the regular hard cover version of this book. We rented it from the library over and over again until I decided to order her own copy and was so dissapointed. When the board book version arrived from Amazon it is missing 2 animals that the original version has and the ending where there is another hole and asks "what can you spy?" Even though my daughter is only two she noticed the differences right away and was not happy about it. Still a cute book, but if you know the real version this is dissapointing.

Very fun!
Love the book! It was a hit for 3 year old but more so for 2 and 1 year olds! Will buy for gift again.

Good fun
I love this book. Bought it because we have all the rest of Gibbs' I Spy. This version is good for learning letters and it is just such fun to do eye spy at each other through the hole in the back of the book. We poke a range of odd things through.
