## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the escutcheon part threaded & if so, does it come apart from the back threaded part that screws into the jet pipe or wall?**
A: Yes.  There are two threaded parts. The back part that goes into the jet outlet and the part for the "eye", so that you can adjust the angle and then lock it into position. They are great and still going strong.

**Q: What is the gpm rating?**
A: I have never seen a GPM rating on these by any manufacturer.  If a company put a such a rating on thier product it would really only be a marketing ploy because GPM has too many other variables (e.g. pump HP, pump efficiency, pipe run, filter type, etc.).  If you like the flow that your currrent system has then I’d measure the opening and match it up.  If you want more “force,” go with a smaller opening.  Opposite if you want less “force.”

**Q: Can you install new ones below the water level?  So you have to use a gasket or sealant?**
A: Yes you can install them under the water level. No need to use a sealant or gasket the screw in the existing return hole.

**Q: Do these have a rubber ring to make an air tight fit?**
A: These are below the water level so there would be no air to enter. This also is an exit and if you see bubbles, there is probably a leak or seal issue in the pump or skimmer tray on the pump.
