I painted mine flat black to disappear behind the rails. Also, the supplied hardware to mount it to a wood shelf unit may lack the robustness necessary for heavy equipment loads. If one needs to fill depth or shim for standard spacing, then longer hardware may be needed. Also, the parts are metric but most furniture in the U.S. is dimensioned in inches and fractions. This only seemed to matter when getting longer bolts to attach the racks.
